Well, the second round of the 2024 NFL Draft came and went without the Minnesota Vikings doing anything. Now we’re into Round 3, where the purple are expected to continue to not do anything.

Yes, the Vikings are not slated to have a pick in the third round of this year’s NFL Draft because they’ve traded it away. They’re not currently scheduled to be on the clock until the fourth round at #108 overall, and then after that they aren’t currently slated to have a selection until Round 6.

For the first time in franchise history, the Minnesota Vikings selected a quarterback with a top ten Draft choice on Thursday night when they selected Michigan star J.J. Last night was a pretty exciting first round of the 2024 NFL Draft for the Minnesota Vikings, and I think that’s something that we can all admit. However, in all that excitement, it turns out that the Vikings are currently a bit short of capital for next year’s NFL Draft.
