Brian Callahan and the Tennessee Titans really need a win in this game today. The Indianapolis Colts have been playing really good football, but they aren’t as good as they have been playing. Their defensive front is not nearly as good as the ones the Titans opened the season against.

Of course, it won’t be easy. The Titans aren’t exactly one of the best teams in the league, and they are playing without JC Latham for the second straight game. They will also be without T’Vondre Sweat, and could also be missing Jarvis Brownlee and/or L’Jarius Sneed.

Well, this is not a good development. The Tennessee Titans placed defensive tackle T’Vondre Sweat on injured reserve today. That means he will miss the next four games. Early in the week, it seemed like Sweat might have a chance to play this week. Now he is out until at least week seven when Mike Vrabel and the New England Patriots come to town.

Stopping Jonathan Taylor and the Indianapolis Colts’ rushing attack was going to be a tall task even if Sweat was able to play. This just makes it that much tougher. It is going to take everyone...

There was a lot of buzz around Tennessee Titans wide receiver Calvin Ridley in the preseason. He and Cam Ward had an immediate connection dating back to OTAs. It hasn’t translated through the first two weeks of the regular season. A big reason for that is that Ridley has dropped multiple passes.

Ridley is getting paid to be a star, #1 receiver. They haven’t gotten that from him through the first two weeks of the season. Former Titans Nate Washington says Ridley needs a reality check:

Tennessee Titans head coach Brian Callahan said after today’s practice that JC Latham is the only player who will be listed as out for the game on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. This is no surprise as Latham hasn’t practiced all week. It would be great if he could be back for next week’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders.

As for who will play right tackle this week, Callahan said both Oli Udoh and John Ojukwu got reps this week. Neither is a great option, but at least the Colts’ pass rush isn’t the caliber of the two teams...

There is some good news on the Tennessee Titans’ injury front on Thursday. Kevin Zeitler was upgraded from DNP on Wednesday to limited today. With JC Latham still not practicing and unlikely to play against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, the Titans really need Zeitler out there. The only other change from yesterday is that Jarvis Brownlee was added to the injury report as a limited participant with an ankle injury.

L’Jarius Sneed was still listed as DNP with a back injury, but Jim Wyatt said he did some work on a side field. My guess is that Sneed is...

• The Tennessee Titans’ offense, overall, has been really bad. Lost in that is the fact that Tony Pollard has been really good:

• Ran Carthon missed on a lot of things, but signing Pollard wasn’t one of them. He has been forced into the workhorse role with Tyjae Spears on IR. He’s doing a really good job with 152 yards in the first two games. That number, without context, isn’t good, but think about the fact that teams don’t fear the Titans’ passing game, and the fact that they have faced two really good defenses.

Maybe the Tennessee Titans have had a quarterback before that gives the same type of thoughtful answers in a press conference, but I don’t remember that being the case. The Tennessee Titans entered the 2025 season with a revamped offensive line. The idea was to protect rookie quarterback Cam Ward. That hasn’t happened through two completed weeks.

General manager Mike Borgonzi signed Dan Moore Jr. and Kevin Zeitler in free agency. Flipping JC Latham over to right tackle was supposed to improve both offensive tackle spots. Lloyd Cushenberry returned from an Achilles injury, and Peter Skoronski is their best offensive linemen.

Quarterbacks Will Levis and Mason Rudolph were sacked on 52 occasions last year. That tied for fifth-most in the league. Ward has been sacked on a league-worst 11...

As expected, JC Latham did not practice today for the Tennessee Titans. He seems like a long shot to play on Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. Also listed as not practicing were Bryce Oliver (knee), L’Jarius Sneed (back), and Kevin Zeitler (biep). Before you freak out about Sneed not practicing, remember that it is only Wednesday, and at least the injury isn’t something with his knee/quad. It also wouldn’t be ideal for Zeitler to miss this week.

Guys practicing on a limited basis were Kalel Mullings, T’Vondre Sweat, and Kevin Winston Jr. Sweat missed last week’s game. It’s encouraging that...
