Jalen Ramsey has yet to play a game for the Pittsburgh Steelers, but he’s already a player are excited to watch in his new city. Aside from former Steelers CB Steven Nelson, that is. On Friday, Nelson took a shot at Ramsey on his Instagram account. “Easy money take the over on whatever WR he […]
A former wide receiver of the Pittsburgh Steelers is now looking for a new home in the NFL.
The Los Angeles Chargers are waiving former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Dez Fitzpatrick with an injury designation, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2.
Fitzpatrick, 25, spent most of the 2024 regular season on the Chargers’ practice squad after being released by the Steelers in early September. He made a case for himself on Pittsburgh’s 53-man roster last preseason, but the team decided to go with five wide receivers and kept Scotty Miller as the final receiver.
Fitzpatrick began his NFL career as...
Welcome to Steelers Morning Rush, our new daily short-form podcast with Alan Saunders, giving a longer perspective on a single news topic surrounding the Pittsburgh Steelers or the National Football League. Today, it’s the slow start for the team’s running game.
Arthur Smith’s unit has struggled to gain traction on the ground throughout training camp, but that could be written off as going up against a very quality unit on the other side of the ball. Then, they struggled against the Jacksonville Jaguars in the first preseason game and again against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in a joint practice on...
A former All-Pro thinks one of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ wide receivers is still ascending and wants to help him do just that.
The Pittsburgh Steelers acquired DK Metcalf from the Seattle Seahawks this offseason to be their No. 1 wide receiver, and some believe he still hasn’t even peaked.
Former All-Pro wide receiver Dez Bryant is among those and wants to help Metcalf reach his full potential.
“I want to work with DK Metcalf,” Bryant posted on X. “He has another level to him that I want to see him unlock.”
Metcalf has been a very productive wide receiver through...
The Pittsburgh Steelers’ defense is loaded with veteran talent, but they’ve also stocked up for the future. By Year 3, Nick Herbig, Joey Porter Jr., and Keeanu Benton should be hitting their prime, while several first- and second-year players are already standing out. T.J. Watt named three young defenders who caught his eye at camp. […]

The Pittsburgh Steelers have a legacy of legendary defenses. In the 1970s, that was their identity and one of the main reasons they won four Super Bowls. Then, in the 2000s, the Steelers once again fielded championship-level defenses. Now, the 2025 Steelers are hoping to follow in the footsteps of those teams. Juan Thornhill thinks […]
Pittsburgh Steelers All-Pro cornerbacks Jalen Ramsey and Darius Slay made a simple pitch to general manager Omar Khan, and that’s to pay Cam Heyward what he deserves.
“[I’ve] got a lot of respect for you, Mr. Omar,” Ramsey said on Heyward’s Not Just Football podcast. “You took care of me, T.J., Slay – Cam is next.”
Ramsey believes the Steelers have a special defensive unit. But they need their captain Cam Heyward.
“We’re excited, man,” Ramsey said. “We’ve got the potential to do something great if we’ve got all [of] our guys out there happy and feeling like they’re valued.”...
If Cam Heyward’s contract situation occured in a vacuum, of course the Pittsburgh Steelers should give him more money. He is being paid like the 23rd-best defensive tackle in the league and he was arguably the very best last season. But every negotiation sets a precedent, and the team can’t afford to break long-standing rules […]
It’s been a familiar story for the Pittsburgh Steelers over the past few seasons. A strong defense bogged down by a lackluster offense as the team scratches and claws its way into the postseason. With the additions of QB Aaron Rodgers, WR DK Metcalf and TE Jonnu Smith, there’s hope that Pittsburgh’s offense will be […]
After signing a contract extension last September, Cam Heyward had one of his best seasons yet. He was named a first-team All-Pro at 35 years old. As a result, he’s currently looking for the Steelers to restructure his contract to give him more money this year. However, no deal is done yet, and the season […]
