The NCAA has denied Texas Tech quarterback Brendan Sorsby‘s request to reinstate his eligibility for the upcoming season, according to ESPN’s Pete Thamel. If Sorsby is barred from playing collegiately again, he’ll likely become available in the NFL’s Supplemental Draft, where the Pittsburgh Steelers could pick him up.
Sorsby, who transferred to join the Red Raiders after a big season at Cincinnati, recently completed his 35-day in-patient rehab for a gambling addiction.
Texas Tech president Lawrence Schovanec wrote in a release that the school will be appealing the NCAA’s ruling, saying, “We believe that given the facts and the context...

Of course, Rodgers is one of the greatest quarterbacks in the history of the game. He is also very detailed in what he wants from his receivers. He’s a self-described perfectionist.
Rodgers is not too keen on young receivers. That was made evident late last year...
Wide receiver was one of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ biggest weaknesses last year. DK Metcalf was their No. 1, but no one behind him stepped up. There was hope that a healthy Roman Wilson would contribute, but he had a disappointing season. He finished the year with only 12 catches for 166 yards and two touchdowns, […]
