Another wide receiver option is off the table for the Pittsburgh Steelers.
The Pittsburgh Steelers are believed to be buyers at the NFL trade deadline coming off an impressive 27-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts and still a clear need at wide receiver. However, that potential acquisition will not come from the Tennessee Titans.
According to Turron Davenport of ESPN, the Titans are not shopping veteran wide receiver Calvin Ridley, despite recent reports. Tennessee has reportedly received calls about Ridley, among other players.
The #Titans are not shopping Calvin Ridley as some reports are saying. Confirmed with multiple team...
Sunday was a really important day for the Pittsburgh Steelers defensively. They struggled mightily in the past two weeks and faced a tough matchup against an Indianapolis Colts offense that rolled into this game playing at a historically good level. Things didn’t get off to the greatest start. The Colts scored on their first drive […]

Kyle Dugger hasn’t been with the Pittsburgh Steelers for very long, but he didn’t look out of place in his first game with them. While the Steelers only traded for Dugger less than a week ago, he played nearly the entire game Sunday against the Indianapolis Colts. The veteran safety was on the field for […]

For the sixth-straight week, Aaron Rodgers and the Pittsburgh Steelers offense scored 20-plus points; however, the veteran quarterback wants more.
Many doubted Pittsburgh before their Week Nine tilt against the Indianapolis Colts, but after a strong performance on both sides of the ball, the team improved to 5-3. The defensive unit had its best outing of the season, holding Indianapolis’ top-five offense to just 20 points.
Offensively, Rodgers threw for 203 yards and a touchdown. As the veteran continues his hot start in the black and gold, it is evident he wants it all.
Rodgers’ blunt response to Steelers’ 27-20...

The Pittsburgh Steelers came into the weekend as home underdogs but were able to pull off the 27-20 upset win over the Indianapolis Colts and extend their lead in the AFC North.
The defense turned in a vintage performance, forcing a half dozen turnovers and getting a bit of revenge on Colts play caller Shane Steichen, who has had their number for years now. Mike Tomlin’s club definitely made the city proud as the organization honored the 2005 Super Bowl XL team this weekend.
Let’s take a look at some winners and losers from Sunday’s contest.

PITTSBURGH — Shortly after his first outing with the Pittsburgh Steelers, Kyle Dugger received a game ball. While he didn’t stuff the box score with more than four total tackles, his effort to get onto the field was a large part of what earned him the keepsake.
“I’m not really big on that kind of stuff,” said Dugger, who started at strong safety in his team’s 27-20 win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, three days after his first practice with Mike Tomlin’s team. “I definitely appreciate the recognition (from) my coach. … The win was easily the most important...
PITTSBURGH — Indianapolis Colts running back Jonathan Taylor came into Sunday’s game as the league’s leading rusher, recording 850 yards on 143 carries and 12 touchdowns on the ground. He had three scrimmage touchdowns in four of his eight games.
The Steelers knew that stopping Taylor was the key to the game, and they certainly accomplished that feat in Sunday’s 27-20 win over Indianapolis. The NFL MVP candidate was limited to 45 yards on 14 carries (3.2 average).
“We had a good plan going into it but at the end of the day, the plan don’t work unless we go...
The Pittsburgh Steelers ended their two-game losing streak in emphatic fashion against the Indianapolis Colts. Their defense, which was ice cold and ranked dead last in stopping the pass, forced six takeaways and held the NFL’s best offense to seven points through three quarters and defeated Indianapolis 27-20.
It was as close to a must-win as a Week 9 game could get for Pittsburgh. A loss would have put them at 4-4 and given them their third straight loss before a cross-country trip to face the Chargers in Los Angeles. Speaking to the media after the game, quarterback Aaron Rodgers...

Darnell Washington has been instrumental in jump-starting the Pittsburgh Steelers’ rushing attack out of their jumbo package, but his growing impact in the passing game is becoming just as significant. After the Steelers beat the Indianapolis Colts, 27-20, Aaron Rodgers spoke at length about Washington’s importance to the Steelers’ offense. “I just love his attitude […]
