The Pittsburgh Steelers have missed out on a second wide receiver trade, as the New Orleans Saints are trading Rashid Shaheed to the Seattle Seahawks, according to multiple reports. Shaheed will reportedly fetch the Saints fourth- and fifth-round pick from Seattle in the deal.
The Steelers had been connected to Shaheed in the buildup to the 2025 NFL Trade Deadline, which is at 4 p.m. on Tuesday. Another receiver connected to the Steelers, Las Vegas Raiders wide out Jakobi Meyers, was traded earlier on Tuesday.
The Steelers have been in the market for a wide receiver since trading George Pickens...

According to NFL insider James Palmer, the Steelers are among the top teams being “aggressive” before the 4 PM/EST trade deadline. “I’ve been hearing Pittsburgh is definitely out there being aggressive. They are looking at different players,” […]

PITTSBURGH — During his Tuesday press conference, Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin minimized the Steelers’ acquisition of veteran wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling, and said it would not stop them from pursuing another WR.
“He’s just a practice squadder right now. We’ll get him in the fold and get him working,” Tomlin said.
The Steelers officially announced the signing of MVS on Tuesday. The veteran WR reunites with former teammate Aaron Rodgers in the Steel City.
Rodgers said last week that MVS is one of his favorite teammates of all-time. Despite the past history between the two, Tomlin said Rodgers...
The Pittsburgh Steelers made the signing of wide receiver Marquez Valdes-Scantling official on Tuesday. The veteran receiver is a former teammate of Aaron Rodgers during their time together with the Green Bay Packers.
While many have been wondering when he will join the active roster, head coach Mike Tomlin said that this isn’t a Kyle Dugger situation, and he will remain on the practice squad. He also mentioned that Aaron Rodgers did not advocate for MVS – at least to him.
The Steelers are notably thin at receiver. While Calvin Austin has been reliable in some instances this season, Pittsburgh...
Behind the Steel Curtain
All the Pittsburgh Steelers had to do to close out Sunday’s game over the Indianapolis Colts was get a few first downs and run out the clock. WR Roman Wilson had picked up one of those first downs with under 3:40 to play, but Wilson attempted a hurdle, fumbled, and gave the Colts new life. […]

Despite their history together, Aaron Rodgers had no influence in the Pittsburgh Steelers’ decision to sign WR Marquez Valdes-Scantling, according to Mike Tomlin. A move months in the making, the Steelers reportedly attempted to sign Valdes-Scantling at the start of the season. After a stint in San Francisco, he worked out for the Steelers last […]

The Steelers improved to 5-3 with a win over the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday, a game that helped rid the bad taste out of their and our collective mouths. The win helped them maintain a two-game lead in the AFC North over the Baltimore Ravens.
But the big story today is the NFL trade deadline, which has a 4 PM ET cutoff. The Steelers have already been involved on multiple fronts, including a deal with the Patriots for safety Kyle Dugger just last week. Dugger played 76 of a possible 77 snaps for the Steelers on Sunday.
During his weekly...

PITTSBURGH — Jalen Ramsey made a handful of enforcer-like hits on Indianapolis Colts pass-catchers while on the back end on Sunday. The Pittsburgh Steelers’ veteran defensive back will be slotted at safety again as the team prepares to take on Justin Herbert and the Los Angeles Chargers on Sunday.
During Sunday’s 27-20 win over the Colts, Ramsey played beside Kyle Dugger, who arrived in the Steel City earlier in the week via a trade from the New England Patriots. Usual starting safety DeShon Elliott badly hyperextended his knee in the Steelers’ loss to the Green Bay Packers the week before,...
The Pittsburgh Steelers defense had to make some on-the-fly adjustments in the lead-up to their Week 9 win over the Indianapolis Colts. With Miles Killebrew, Chuck Clark, Juan Thornhill, and DeShon Elliott all out of the lineup, the Steelers moved cornerback Jalen Ramsey back to safety, and it turned out to be a great move.
Ramsey had five tackles and two run stops, per Next Gen Stats, and looked very comfortable in his role. In his Tuesday press conference, Mike Tomlin said that Ramsey will stay at safety this week, and praised both Ramsey and Kyle Dugger for the job...
