The Pittsburgh Steelers have given several veteran days off to respective players throughout camp. One player who has missed a week of practice due to injury, though, is wide receiver Calvin Austin.
The severity of the injury, and exactly what the injury was remained under wraps for quite some time. The Steelers didn’t seem overly concerned about it, but questions still remained. Now, we have been given some clarity on the issue.
Austin is dealing with a minor abdominal injury, per Alan Saunders of Steelers Now.
“While Austin is entering the final season of his contract, Austin’s agent, Rodney Williams,...
The wait for Aaron Rodgers took up most of this offseason for the Pittsburgh Steelers. While it seems like they always knew that they’d land Rodgers, nothing was guaranteed until the deal was done. Now, the question is about how much he can help their offense. When training camp opened, things didn’t look great. Rodgers […]
The Pittsburgh Steelers will be back at Saint Vincent College in Latrobe on Tuesday for their 15th training camp practice of the 2025 season. This one will be the final one that is open to the public before the team officially breaks training camp in a few days. Our very own Alex Kozora will be […]
While on the back nine of his career, Jalen Ramsey still has a lot in the tank as he joins the Pittsburgh Steelers.
Ramsey joined “The Pivot Podcast” recently and discussed how he’d prefer the remainder of his odyssey to unfold. Co-host and former hard-hitting Steelers safety Ryan Clark offered a comparison for the brash three-time first-team Associated Press All-Pro.
“Two of my favorite players that have ever played the game — both last name ‘Woodson’ — Rod Woodson, Charles Woodson, were walking together in the Hall of Fame and I thought to myself, ‘Jalen’s career is very parallel to...
This week, the Pittsburgh Steelers will close training camp for the year. However, they’ve still got more work to do before the regular season starts. That includes two more preseason games, and a joint practice against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. That practice is coming up soon, and Aaron Rodgers recently shared what he’s looking for […]
Jalen Ramsey has been a hired-gun at cornerback throughout his career, playing for his fourth team in 10 seasons with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Each team does things their own way, but he senses something very different with the culture in Pittsburgh set by head coach Mike Tomlin. “I’m in awe,” Ramsey said via The Pivot […]
The Pittsburgh Steelers added a chess piece to their secondary when they traded for CB Jalen Ramsey in late June, but on The Pivot Podcast, Ramsey said the trade was in the works for a bit before being finalized. “It was in the works for a little minute. It was in the works, but things […]
Going into training camp, many Pittsburgh Steelers fans were excited to see how rookie quarterback Will Howard would perform. While he was only a sixth-round pick, Howard had a successful collegiate career, including helping Ohio State win the National Championship last year. Unfortunately, Howard suffered a finger injury in the middle of camp that could […]
Last week, Mike Tomlin said that it didn’t seem as if Will Howard would need surgery for the broken pinky he suffered in practice. Howard confirmed that he won’t need surgery to reporters before practice on Tuesday. According to ESPN’s Brooke Pryor, Howard said he avoided surgery but isn’t sure he’ll be able to do […]
The Pittsburgh Steelers revamped their cornerback room this offseason. They signed Brandin Echols and Darius Slay, and also traded for Jalen Ramsey. Before training camp, it was unclear what the division of labor would look like for that group. Now, that picture is a little clearer. Slay and Joey Porter Jr. figure to be the […]

A former wide receiver of the Pittsburgh Steelers is heading back to the AFC.
Former Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Marquez Callaway is signing with the Las Vegas Raiders, according to Aaron Wilson of KPRC2.

The 6-foot-1, 205-pound receiver had spent the previous four seasons with the New Orleans Saints, but struggled to gain traction with the Steelers, despite a wide receivers room devoid of explosive playmakers.
After his release from...
