CLEVELAND — The Pittsburgh Steelers road woes in Cleveland continue. The Steelers battled a lake-effect snowstorm, their own poor play, and their oldest rivals, losing a 24-19 decision to the Browns on Thursday.
The Steelers have now won just one game in Cleveland since the 2017 season, falling to 1-5-1 at the building now known as Huntington Bank Field in that span. They also fell to 0-8 overall and 0-6 under head coach Mike Tomlin in road Thursday Night Football games within...
It wouldn’t be a Pittsburgh Steelers loss if there wasn’t some drama involving George Pickens after the final whistle. For the second time this season—the first against the Dallas Cowboys—George Pickens was involved in some extracurriculars after the game ended. This time, it appeared to be with Cleveland Browns CB Greg Newsome II, and it […]
The Pittsburgh Steelers played an awful game. Mike Tomlin’s performance was just as bad as those who took the field. One of Tomlin’s several questionable decisions came late in the game, accepting an illegal-touching penalty to turn a 4th and 2 into a 3rd and 7. It was a confusing sequence, the refs taking time […]
The Pittsburgh Steelers offense sputtered for most of the night and despite taking the lead in the fourth quarter, a late touchdown by RB Nick Chubb lifted the Cleveland Browns over the Pittsburgh Steelers in a 24-19 win. The Browns deferred on the coin toss so Pittsburgh opened up with the ball. The drive looked […]

CLEVELAND — Pittsburgh Steelers linebacker Elandon Roberts took a blow to the head on a goal line play in the fourth quarter of Thursday night’s game against the Cleveland Browns. Roberts was slow to get up and was assisted off the field by the team’s medical staff.
It’s unclear of what injury Roberts suffered. Roberts did not go into the blue medical tent and was standing on the sideline with his helmet, so it appears he’s OK.
Two plays later, Browns quarterback Jameis Winston scrambled...
Pittsburgh Steelers LB Elandon Roberts suffered an apparent injury following a run by RB Nick Chubb on 4th and 1 during the Steelers’ Week 12 matchup against the Cleveland Browns. Following the play, Roberts dropped to a knee and was attended to by trainers on the field. He was able to walk off the field […]

CLEVELAND — Russell Wilson floated the football over Benjamin St-Juste and into Mike Williams’ hands. That touchdown won the Pittsburgh Steelers their road clash with the Washington Commanders two Sundays ago.
They haven’t scored a touchdown in the six quarters since.
At halftime of the Steelers’ Thursday night game against the Cleveland Browns, the Browns led 10-3. Almost-automatic kicker Chris Boswell posted the Steelers’ three first-half points with a 48-yard field goal in the second quarter. He pushed an earlier try outside the right upright from 58...
What a disaster of a half that was. Myles Garrett is single-handedly wrecking the game, including a forced fumble that resulted in three points for the Cleveland Browns. The Pittsburgh Steelers currently trail 10-3 and the Browns get the ball to start the second half. Russell Wilson has played okay, but he is taking too […]
Well ... that went about as well as could be expected.
Though the Cleveland Browns have the edge in this one, there’s an entire second-half left and they’re down just a single touchdown.
How are we feeling, BTSC?
When it rains, it pours. While the weather is actually unfavorable for the Week 12 matchup, the “pouring” refers to Steelers WR Van Jefferson’s quad injury. Aside from George Pickens, who is currently enjoying a breakout season, Pittsburgh has struggled to get consistent production out of their receivers through 11 games in 2024.
Jefferson has totaled 14 receptions on 24 targets for 139 receiving yards and one touchdown. Losing Jefferson to injury would hurt a Steelers wide receiver room already dealing with depth issues.
Pittsburgh traded for WR Mike Williams to address their recent struggles at the position, and the...
The Pittsburgh Steelers entered Week 12’s contest against the Cleveland Browns with a fairly clean injury report. Unfortunately, they did get an injury hit early on in the game, as WR Van Jefferson exited with a quad injury.
Burt Lauten of Steelers PR says he is questionable to return with the injury.

CLEVELAND — Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Van Jefferson left Thursday night’s game against the Cleveland Browns with a quad injury. He’s standing on the sideline with his helmet, but is questionable to return to action.
Jefferson was injured on a four-yard reception which wound up two yards shy of a first down. He was upended on a tackle by the Browns’ Ronnie Hickman.
A first-year Steeler, Jefferson entered the NFL as the Los Angeles Rams’ 2020 second-round pick. Including the grab that he was shaken up on,...
