The Pittsburgh Steelers have signed veteran safety Darnell Savage, per Aaron Wilson.
It had been reported that the two sides were in agreement on a deal back in March, but the two sides have now finally made the signing official.
Savage was drafted by the Green Bay Packers in the first round of the 2019 NFL Draft out of Maryland. He picked off nine passes in his five years with the Packers and signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars in 2024, spending one full season in Duval. He appeared in games for the Jaguars, Washington Commanders, and Buffalo Bills in 2025....

Veteran safety Darnell Savage Jr. has signed with the Pittsburgh Steelers, agent Seth Katz told NFL insider Aaron Wilson.
Savage agreed to terms with the Steelers in March but did not officially sign until now. The reason for the delay has not been disclosed.
“Darnell is excited about playing for the Steelers,” Katz said.
Savage played for three teams last year — two games for Jacksonville, eight games for Washington and two games for the Buffalo Bills. He also started 13 games for the Jaguars in 2024.
