Today’s links theme is about injuries, I’m afraid. Kenny McIntosh isn’t the only one on the mend. The Arizona Cardinals lost an up-and-coming cornerback, the Los Angeles Rams are being cautious with Matthew Stafford’s back, and the San Francisco 49ers had a scare on Sunday on multiple...

Let’s be real, preseason can be a little bit difficult to get through.
We’re less than two weeks away from the first Seattle Seahawks preseason game, a home date against the Las Vegas Raiders. Anybody know who their new head coach is? What about their new starting quarterback?
In today’s NFL, preseason games are fewer than they used to be and starters scarcely play. It wasn’t too long ago when the first and last preseason games were just a procession of backups and rookies, while the second and third games were viewed as dress rehearsals with significant playing time for...

A potentially serious injury to Kenny McIntosh is the first sour moment of Seahawks training camp.
The final non-padded practice of Seattle Seahawks training camp took place on Saturday, but unfortunately not everyone came away unscathed. By far the biggest story of the day was the potentially serious injury to one of Seattle’s running backs.
Let’s recap the day’s events.
Kenny McIntosh believed to have season-ending ACL injury
The third-string running back and kick returner, who lost much of his rookie season due to a knee sprain, may lose all of his third season to a torn...
It’s the second major knee injury for McIntosh in three seasons.
The Seattle Seahawks may have just lost one of their running backs for the season.
As was reported earlier on Saturday, third-year player Kenny McIntosh was helped off the practice field at team headquarters in Renton following a special teams play. McIntosh did not put any weight on his left leg as he left the field, which in itself is usually an ominous sign of something bad.
According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, it appears as if McIntosh’s season is already over. Unless additional testing provides some level of good...
After finally breaking into the Seahawks running back rotation late in his second season, a training camp injury required McIntosh be carried off the field at the VMAC on Saturday
One of the fringe roster players around whom there has been absolutely no shortage of debate during his time with the Seattle Seahawks is running back Kenny McIntosh.
The 2023 seventh round draft pick has earned a roster spot and playing time under each of the last two offensive coaching staffs, and entered his third training camp with the team looking to build on the momentum established late in the...
Coach Macdonald speaks on the third-round pick’s development.
Barring something completely unforeseen, the Seattle Seahawks will be starting Sam Darnold at quarterback in the 2025 season. In the long-term, the hope is that third-round pick Jalen Milroe could/will be the franchise player at the position. If nothing else, Milroe is expected to provide some value to the offense as a rookie, particularly through his outstanding running ability.
Following Friday’s training camp, Seahawks head coach Mike Macdonald was asked about the performance of all three quarterbacks on the roster—Darnold, Milroe, and the returning Drew Lock—and there’s one line that drew a...
Age and experience act both against him and in his favor.
In Today’s Links: Olu Oluwatimi emerging at two positions, our Seattle Seahawks’ QB room may be the best it’s been in a long while, Jaxon Smith-Njigba and his responsibility in the 2025 ‘Hawks offense; plus, plenty of observations and takeaways from this week in Training Camp. Happy Saturday. Enjoy.

Mike Macdonald provided some new insight into the offensive line camp battles.
The Seattle Seahawks continued their first week of training camp on a rare cloudy day in Renton. This was the first camp available to all Seahawks fans instead of season ticket holders, so the doors were opened a little more for the public as far as what lies ahead for the 2025 season. It’s also the penultimate practice without pads before the physicality really ratchets up on Monday.
Let’s get to the Day 3 recap!

There appears to be no shortage of interest in the new free agent, so it may not take long for the former Seattle tight end to find a new home.
It’s been a busy week for the Seattle Seahawks, with veterans reporting for training camp and something resembling actual football right around the corner for the first time in months.
However, while Mike Macdonald and crew are preparing for the 2025 season in training camp, former Seahawks and Denver Broncos tight end Noah Fant is preparing for the 2025 season by looking for a new home. Fant was, as most...
This is the final year of Woolen’s rookie contract.
We’re almost there, Seattle Seahawks fans. Only two weeks until preseason and about six weeks until the regular season opener against the San Francisco 49ers. Until then, how about another listicle?
ESPN’s Bill Barnwell published a column on the 15 players, coaches, and GMs under the most pressure in 2025. There is a Seahawks presence in this article, and it’s one of the top names from the 2022 draft class. Here’s Barnwell’s reasoning for why there’s a ton of pressure on cornerback Riq Woolen:
Which Woolen will show up in...
