NFL Draft 2025 player profile: Tyler Shough, QB, Louisville

NFL Draft 2025 player profile: Tyler Shough, QB, Louisville

At 25 years old and after seven years in college, Shough has garnered a lot of attention as a potential Day 2 draft pick.

One of my favorite times of the year is writing the Seattle Seahawks pre-NFL Draft Reports. I’ve already nailed it down with these notable Seahawks draft picks: Byron Murphy II, Christian Haynes, Tyrice Knight, Devon Witherspoon, Zach Charbonnet, Olu Oluwatimi, Kenny McIntosh, Boye Mafe, Abe Lucas, Riq Woolen, to name a few from the last three years.

We’re still in Year 2 of Mike Macdonald, so it’s still early to set trends, just like it was...

NFL global rights expansion unites Seahawks with Michael Dickson’s birthplace

The man so diabolical he punted a ball twice is celebrating, probably.

The NFL Owners meeting typically provides a few fun new nuggets while we painstakingly wait for the arrival of the NFL draft.

Over the weekend, some new expansions were announced to the Global Markets Program Rights. This gives NFL teams permission to officially brand and market themselves in certain countries.

When the program launched, the Seattle Seahawks were obviously given rights to access Canada. Last year, they were given rights in Germany, Switzerland and Austria. Remember how stoked our friends in Europe were?

Now, the NFL has added...

NFL approves rule change to regular season overtime

Both teams will get one possession on offense, which matches the postseason rules.

It seems that there is never-ending debate over the “fairness” of NFL overtimes whether in the regular season or postseason, and now the league is changing the rules for regular season for the first time since 2017.

At the annual league meeting in Florida, the Competition Committee approved a rule change that will allow both offenses to possess the ball. Previously, the game would automatically end if an offensive (or kick return) touchdown was scored on the opening possession.

Presumably, if the receiving team’s first offensive possession...

ESPN analyst suggests Seahawks give up first-round pick for Browns guard

There is no way the Seahawks do this, otherwise my jaw will detach from my face.

It’s been six years since the Seattle Seahawks last traded down in the first round of an NFL Draft. John Schneider has opted to stick and pick from his number one draft selection from 2020 onward.

We’re in the middle of “any draft content is content” portion of the offseason, so we might as well entertain it so you can go off in the comments. ESPN’s Bill Barnwell opted for a mock trade instead of a mock draft, with mock trade ideas for every...

‘It just hasn’t been a fit’ - John Schneider on Seahawks not signing veteran offensive linemen

Teven Jenkins, Lucas Patrick, and Dillon Radunz were among the notable offensive linemen who visited and ultimately didn’t leave Seattle with a contract.

You’ve heard the story a million times already. The Seattle Seahawks had a lot of salary cap space and proceeded to sign one offensive lineman, Josh Jones, who’s otherwise spent the past two years as a backup.

Seattle brought in several veteran linemen for visits, including Teven Jenkins, Lucas Patrick, and Dillon Radunz. All of them left without contracts and have since signed with other teams.

So what’s the plan for the Seahawks? You should probably expect...

NFL Draft preview: What if the Seahawks don’t draft an offensive lineman at No. 18?

NFL Draft preview: What if the Seahawks don’t draft an offensive lineman at No. 18?

There are still plenty of talented options for the Seahawks if they don’t take an offensive lineman in Round 1.

Calm down. First of all, if you agreed to click and read the article even after reading the title, I thank you. Fans spent the day after the Seattle Seahawks’ last game of 2024 season until the start of free agency making a million plans about which and how many OLs the Seahawks could add to the group.

Forget the fact that the Seahawks “entered the fight” for Will Fries, there weren’t many rumors about other top names or bets....

All you need to know about Seattle Seahawks free agency as “legal tampering” and the 2025 league year begins.

Welcome to the start of the 2025 NFL league year!

Yes, free agency technically begins on Wednesday, March 12, at 1:00 p.m. PT but the end of the 2024 league year gives us the “legal tampering period,” which begins at 9:00 a.m. PT on Monday, March 10. What does that mean, exactly? “Legal tampering” is when teams can enter contract negotiations with unrestricted free agents. However, any agreed upon deals cannot be processed until the new league year begins, at which...
