Plenty of New Orleans Saints fans are excited for the 2026 NFL season as the Saints look ready to battle it out with some of the league’s best despite a 6-11 record in 2025.
It’s not just the fans that have a lot of hope for New Orleans in 2026, however, as the NFL seems to believe it too. On Tuesday, the official NFL YouTube channel posted a season preview for the Saints, having them finish the year with a ceiling record of 11-6.
Just as they have a strong ceiling for New Orleans in 2026, they have a low...

New Orleans Saints legend and ALS advocate Steve Gleason is once again showing his support for fellow former NFL star Chris Johnson, who recently revealed his own ALS diagnosis.
Alongside New Orleans author Brian Jeansonne, who was diagnosed with ALS in 2020, Gleason took the challenge on Wednesday, with Jeansonne posting the video on Instagram.
The Ice Bucket Challenge first became a massive viral social media campaign back in 2014. It involves dumping a bucket of ice water over a person’s head with the purpose of raising awareness and funds for amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS), also known as Lou Gehrig’s...

Starting off hot, let’s talk about the Saints’ top defensive lineman, Chase Young. Last season, even after having a career year, Young did not end up as the team’s sack leader. That title went to franchise...

Since Drew Brees retired during the 2021 offseason, there have been nine different quarterbacks that have started for the New Orleans Saints. So, I thought it would be interesting to take a look back at those who have been under center the past 5 years and rank them from worst to best.
Ian Book started just one game under center for the black and gold in Week 16 of the 2021 season. The game was on Thursday Night Football against the Miami Dolphins and quickly became a 20-3 defeat in the Superdome. Book finished his Saints...

The New Orleans Saints struggled at the start the 2025 season and it was expected. Spencer Rattler was the team’s Week 1 starter, and there wasn’t a lot of hope yet surrounding the team’s plan for the future.
That all quickly changed when Tyler Shough became the team’s starting quarterback. Shough shined despite a lack of talent around him, ending the season with a 5-4 record and a truly remarkable relationship with star receiver Chris Olave. The team’s turnaround has brought a breath of confidence to the team for 2026, with the Saints’ offseason moves reflecting this.
So, how well...

New Orleans Saints DE Cam Jordan signed a one-year deal with the team marking this his 16th and final NFL season. Details on his contact have recently been released and Jordan’s sack incentives have been increased from $2 million last year to $3.5 million this year. Jordan will also receive an additional $500,000, if he gets 5 sacks and an additional $750,000 for each sack up to a maximum of $3.5 million.
Jordan will definitely be looking to improve upon his 10.5 sack season in 2025 due to this being his NFL finale as well as the financial motivation that...

The New Orleans Saints have reshaped their offense this offseason, but one notable veteran remains available on the free-agent market. According to Bleacher Report, the Saints stand out as the best potential landing spot for six-time Pro Bowl wide receiver Keenan Allen.
The biggest reason for that connection is Saints head coach Kellen Moore. Moore and Allen spent the 2023 season together with the Los Angeles Chargers, where Moore served as offensive coordinator and Allen posted one of the best years of his career, hauling in 108 receptions for 1,243 yards and seven touchdowns despite appearing in just 13 games....

Former New Orleans Saints teammates Terron Armstead and Marcus Williams built a strong bond during their time together in the Big Easy, and that relationship remains as strong as ever.
Armstead was in attendance for the MW Athletics and GutCheck Combine, an event hosted through Williams’ youth training program, where he spent time supporting the next generation of athletes while praising the work his former teammate has done in the community.
When asked about Williams and the event, the Saints Hall of Famer made it clear their connection goes well beyond football.
