Well, it happened again.
Last week, after the New Orleans Saints’ loss to the Arizona Cardinals, it was announced that safety Julian Blackmon is expected to be ruled out for the rest of the season. This was a big hit to the defense, and the announcement felt like it dropped out of nowhere. During the actual game, it never felt like a season-ending injury ever occurred.

The New Orleans Saints fell to 0-2 on the season after a disappointing loss to the injured San Francisco 49ers. New Orleans got the ball with 2:40 seconds left in the game, down 26-21, but weren’t able to convert on fourth & 2 to keep the game alive.
Scoring for the Saints opened up after Spencer Rattler found tight end Juwan Johnson on a back-shoulder throw with 1:14 seconds left in the first half. 9-7 49ers lead.
