Quarterback: D
Cooper Rush drew another start in-place of Lamar Jackson and was uninspiring again, to say the least. Rush completed 11-of-19 throws for just 72 yards before being replaced by Tyler Huntley to start the fourth quarter. Rush’s interception early in the game was costly and he misfired on a handful of other passes. Huntley gave the offense a little more juice but they were still unable to score. “Snoop” threw 15 passes in garbage time, completing 10 for only 68 yards. He scrambled three times for 39 yards with a 19-yard pickup on fourth-and-long.

The Baltimore Ravens lost their third straight game in Week 6, falling to the Los Angeles Rams 17-3. The Ravens have been outscored by double digits in three consecutive games and are now 1-5 ahead of the upcoming bye week. Here are Baltimore Beatdown’s Roundtable Reactions to the team’s defeat:
The Ravens were halfway to finding competent football today. Derrick Henry ran the ball well and the defense limited the Rams well in the first half. But it all fell apart quickly. Cooper Rush missed throws, Flowers fumbled twice, the Ravens couldn’t convert from the 1-yard line (again), and...
The Baltimore Ravens will only have four defensive linemen available for Sunday’s game against the Los Angeles Rams.
Rookie Aeneas Peebles was deactivated as a healthy scratch, putting the defensive line in a tough spot. Travis Jones, Brent Urban, John Jenkins, and C.J. Okoye will have to stay fresh and healthy for 60 minutes.
The Ravens have been down this path before, and it seems like a risky one. Even a single injury along the defensive line could tank the entire unit. Stopping the run and allowing long drives have been two of the defense’s biggest issues this season. Having...
The Baltimore Ravens are 1-4 heading into their Week 6 matchup with the Los Angeles Rams. A win feels like an absolute must to keep their playoff hopes alive, but that will be immensely difficult against a hot Rams team that has been much better (and much healthier) than the Ravens this year.
Week 5 Injury and Roster News
Pregame Predictions and Analysis
The Baltimore Ravens waived undrafted rookie safety Reuben Lowery ahead of Sunday’s matchup with the Rams, creating a spot on the 53-man roster for nose tackle C.J. Okoye.
The Ravens also elevated quarterback Tyler Huntley and safety Keondre Jackson from the practice squad for Sunday’s game. Huntley will back up Cooper Rush while Jackson will contribute on special teams.
Okoye was elevated from the practice squad for the last two games amid the Ravens’ injury crisis along their defensive line. He could not harness his massive 6-foot-6, 370-pound frame into splash plays, but he effectively ate space in the trenches...
The Baltimore Ravens are in dire straits. Trapped at 1-4 and staring down into the abyss, they desperately need a win against the Rams. It’s not going to be easy with a number of players still sidelined. Let’s go over some of the Ravens’ keys to success in Week 6.
The talk all last week was how the Ravens should focus on getting Derrick Henry and the run game going with Lamar Jackson being out and the recent struggles. The Ravens did manage to get Henry to carry the ball 15 times, but it...
The Baltimore Ravens ruled out star quarterback Lamar Jackson for a second week in a row, positioning backup Cooper Rush to start on Sunday against the Los Angeles Rams.
Jackson was knocked out of the Ravens’ Week 4 loss to the Chiefs with a hamstring injury that was expected to sidelined him for multiple games.
With Rush under center in Week 5, Baltimore’s offense only put up 10 points and 207 yards against a ferocious Texans defense. They will have a similar uphill battle against the Rams on Sunday, though their defense hasn’t been quite as dominant as Houston’s.
Linebacker...

The Baltimore Ravens had several positive updates on their Thursday injury report, including returns to practice by cornerback Marlon Humphrey and fullback Patrick Ricard.
Safety Kyle Hamilton was upgraded to full participation; he is trending towards playing against the Rams on Sunday after missing last week’s game vs. the Texans.
There was some concern about the Ravens’ offensive tackle depth after left tackle Ronnie Stanley, right tackle Roger Rosengarten, and swing tackle Joe Noteboom were all limited in Wednesday’s practice. All three were upgraded to full participation on Thursday, which will be crucial against a ferocious Rams pass rush.

The Ravens’ disastrous start to the season reached a new point last Sunday, as they were obliterated by 34 points against the Houston Texans. They allowed 44 points while scoring just 10, tying a record-high for points allowed at home under head coach John Harbaugh. Baltimore’s injury-ravaged roster put up no resistance against the Texans and were outmatched on both sides of the ball from start to finish.
While the Ravens may return a couple of players from injury this coming week, their prospects of winning aren’t any brighter. The Los Angeles Rams are coming into...
As the Baltimore Ravens continue to be stricken by an injury crisis over the past two weeks, they received a small dose of more positive news on Wednesday. All-Pro safety Kyle Hamilton (groin) and starting left tackle Ronnie Stanley (ankle), who both missed last week’s game against the Houston Texans, returned to practice. Stanley also was sidelined for the majority of the team’s Week 4 contest after exiting early in the game.
While they practiced in limited fashion, Hamilton and Stanley each practicing this early in the week bodes well for their chances of suiting up this Sunday against the...
