The Ravens are signing former Browns center Ethan Pocic, per ESPN’s Adam Schefter, adding an experienced veteran to Baltimore’s training camp battle to replace Tyler Linderbaum.

Pocic, 30, suffered a torn Achilles last December but was cleared to participate in training camp this week. His availability quickly drew connections to the center-needy Ravens, who were set to enter training camp with Danny Pinter, Jovaughn Gwyn, and Corey Bullock competing for the starting job.

Of that trio, only Pinter has started in the NFL, but never in Week 1 and never more than thrice in a single season. Pocic, meanwhile, was a full-time starter for his last four years in Cleveland and two years in Seattle before that. In his nine-year career, he has 97 starts, 114 total appearances, and 6,275 snaps – more experience than any Ravens offensive linemen not named Ronnie Stanley.

This is a breaking story that will be updated with more information.
