So much for Lamar Jackson missing the game on Sunday. Jackson practiced in full yesterday after missing practice on Wednesday. He is now expected to start for the Ravens against the Jets. That does not bode well for a depleted Jets defense. Unless the Ravens suffer a letdown or the Jets play out of their minds, this one looks very likely to be a loss for the Jets, and probably not a close one.

Ravens quarterback Lamar Jackson missed practice with an ankle injury on Wednesday ahead of Baltimore’s Week 12 matchup with the Jets.

Jackson missed three games in October with an ankle injury.

A week ago ahead of Baltimore’s game against the Cleveland Browns, Jackson sat out practice on Wednesday before practicing the rest of the week and playing on Sunday. The difference is that he had a knee injury listed as the reason. That suggests the ankle injury here is a new ailment.

Until we hear Jackson isn’t playing, it’s probably best to assume that he will be in the lineup...

The New York Jets are in the middle of another disappointing season. This one stings more than more most. They’ve traded away multiple franchise players, Aaron Glenn has struggled to find his groove as a head coach, and the team simply doesn’t have many players to root for.

Word out of Baltimore is Lamar Jackson missed practice yesterday with an ankle injury. Veterans are often banged up this time of year and miss some practices, only to suit up and play on game day. Jackson will probably be out there making life miserable for the Jets. However, if he misses another practice today, things get interesting. A Jackson-less Ravens team is vulnerable. Maybe the Jets get lucky here and find themselves in a winnable game.
