The Jets defensive front looks formidable in 2024
The New York Jets have spent a ton of resources on the defensive line in the past few seasons. Some notable parts of that:
Given that, perhaps it shouldn’t be a surprise that the New York Jets are thought to have...
Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets
Good morning Gang Green Nation! With the release of the NFL schedule comes the annual fun but fruitless exercise of picking the game by game results for every game of the season. There are so many moving parts in an NFL season that it is all but impossible to predict the results of any game this far out. Factor in the fact that every year nearly every team beats teams they “shouldn’t” beat and loses to teams they “shouldn’t” lose to. Then factor in the inevitability of injuries, and the...
Predicting the Jets’ 2024 record
Let’s get this out of the way: I am aware it is May and I am aware that May is far too early in the NFL timeline to accurately gauge how teams will do a 3+ months from now.
With that said, the schedule is out so I’m going to have some fun and guess on how the Jets do based on their recently released schedule anyway.
(A thank you to ESPN for having a very neat bulleted list of the schedule)
Taking a look at the Jets’ 2024 third round pick
With the 2024 NFL draft behind us, we’re taking an in-depth look at each of the Jets’ draft picks, in reverse order. We continue today with former Western Kentucky wide receiver Malachi Corley, who was selected by the Jets with the first pick of the third round.
The 22-year old Corley is listed at 5’11” and 215 pounds and was a two-time all-Conference USA first team selection. He caught over 100 passes for almost 1,300 yards in 2022 and fell just short of another thousand-yard season in 2023.

Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets
Good morning, Gang Green Nation. I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. The New York Jets first home game will likely be one that many fans won’t enjoy, considering it begins on Thursday Night Football in Week 3. However, it’s also against the New England Patriots, who will be without Tom Brady and Bill Belichick for the first time in over two decades. Instead, it will be former Patriots linebacker Jerod Mayo and potentially rookie quarterback Drake Maye who will face the Jets, giving Gang Green...

The 2024 Jets schedule is out. It features several marquee matchups and interesting games.
If you could go to one game, which would it be? Here are some of the top candidates.
Week 1 at San Francisco
The Jets start their season with a bang. Aaron Rodgers returns to the lineup after a first season that was short circuited by an injury on the first series. The Jets face off against a 49ers team that was within a play of winning the Super Bowl.
Week 3 vs. New England
I’m not sure a Thursday night home opener is the most...
The Jets will open on Monday Night Football with a road game.
For the second straight year, the Jets will open their season with a marquee matchup on Monday Night Football. In 2023 the team opened at home against the division rival Buffalo Bills. This year the Jets are taking a long road trip. They will head out to San Francisco for a date with the defending NFC Champion 49ers.
The Jets are currently 5.5 point underdogs in the opener. This is no real surprise. The Niners are at home for starters. And they have consistently been one of the...
Bringing your daily links to the NFL’s New York Jets
Good morning, Gang Green Nation. I hope you’re all having a great start to the day. The New York Jets schedule has been leaked, and there are quite a few interesting game times for the year. The Jets will have seven standalone games this season, six on prime time while one is an international game against the Minnesota Vikings - where Gang Green could find themselves facing their former first round pick Sam Darnold. That is, if he’s able to hold off rookie JJ McCarthy. The amount of prime time...
The Jets will be a staple of national television this season.

The Jets open the 2024 season on the road against a very tough opponent
It was announced this week that the New York Jets would play the San Francisco 49ers on Monday Night Football in Week 1 of the 2024 NFL season. This makes for a great matchup on paper given the general consensus that the Jets should be massively improved in 2024 and that the 49ers will continue to be among the league’s best.
What are the odds the New York Jets win that matchup? To try to estimate that, I am going to rely on the DraftKings betting...
