Jaguars announce two promotions within coaching staff

The Jacksonville Jaguars have promoted Shane Waldron and Heath Farwell, the team announced Tuesday.

Waldron will now serve as Pass Game Coordinator and Assistant Head Coach; Farwell is Special Teams Coordinator and Associate Head Coach.

Waldron and Farwell have already been integral parts of Liam Coen’s coaching staff. Waldron was originally the guy who helped Coen land a job with Sean McVay’s Los Angeles Rams back in 2018, whereas Farwell did good enough work under Doug Pederson that Coen opted to retain him in Jacksonville.

“These elevations for Shane and Heath are certainly well earned, as both were instrumental upon...

Jaguars Reacts Survey: Who will be Jacksonville’s top ballhawk in 2026?

Welcome to SB Nation Reacts, a survey of fans across the NFL. Throughout the year we ask questions of the most plugged-in Jaguars fans and fans across the country. Sign up here to participate in the weekly emailed surveys.

Some folks may look at the Jaguars’ 2026 offseason and come away underwhelmed. The only veterans they signed from different teams are rotational pieces, Chris Rodriguez Jr. and Ruke Orhorhoro. Their top draft pick is an unheard-of tight end, Nate Boerkircher. Jacksonville arguably lost more talent than it added.

The good news is that we aren’t talking about a Madden franchise...

Reacts Survey Results: Jaguars K Cam Little could be bound for greatness

Last week, we asked Jacksonville Jaguars fans to project the team’s next first-time Pro Bowler.

About one-third of the respondents went with placekicker Cam Little.

Little broke the NFL record for longest made field goal (68 yards) in Week 9 of 2025 after breaking the sport’s unofficial record (70 yards) during the preseason.

The next step for Little, now entering his third pro season, is to become more consistent. He boasted the sixth-best rate of made field goals as a rookie (93.1%) before falling to 12th in his second season (88.2%). Little missed four field goals in a five-week stretch...

The Jaguars Have an Ezra Cleveland Decision to Make

Extension season is officially underway in Jacksonville. With the Jaguars locking up tight end Brenton Strange on a three-year contract extension this week, the spotlight has naturally shifted to the other players on the roster heading into contract years. And while wide receiver Parker Washington figures to be the name most frequently mentioned in those conversations, there is another player quietly making one of the strongest cases for a new deal on this entire roster, one who plays a position that rarely gets the attention it deserves: Ezra Cleveland.

Jaguars draft class: 5 things to know about Josh Cameron

Jaguars draft class: 5 things to know about Josh Cameron

Josh Cameron’s journey to Jacksonville was anything but conventional. The former Baylor receiver went from overlooked walk-on to NFL Draft pick by repeatedly proving doubters wrong. Here are five stories Jaguars fans should know about their newest rookie.

The most overlooked receiver in Texas

It’s rare for a player with Josh Cameron’s high school production to receive so little attention.

Playing at Cedar Park High School outside Austin, Cameron finished his prep career with 177 receptions, more than 2,400 receiving yards and 29 touchdowns, helping his team reach the Texas state championship game. Yet despite those eye-popping numbers, not...

Jaguars, Strange Agree To Contract Extension

Jaguars, Strange Agree To Contract Extension

Wednesday became a payday for Jacksonville Jaguars tight end Brenton Strange.

The Penn State alum and fourth-year Jag reportedly agreed to a contract extension with the team for a new 3-year deal worth up to $48 million with $25 million guaranteed.

Fellow tight end Kyle Pitts Sr. recently agreed to a new deal with the Atlanta Falcons on Tuesday to the tune of 3-years, $54 million and $36 million in guarantees which likely set the ceiling for the new contract given to Strange.

Strange is coming off the best pass-catching year of his career that saw him snag 46 of...

Pro Bowl voting can be a cruel thing for Jaguars fans. For Jaguars players, really. Jacksonville is a relatively small NFL market and a historically unsuccessful franchise; because of these tough truths, Jaguars players have always been somewhat overlooked from a national perspective.

The good news is that we don’t give a hoot about point a because we’ve got a new...

Reacts Survey Results: Brian Thomas Jr. still viewed as WR1 by Jaguars fans

Last week, we asked Jacksonville Jaguars fans to predict the team’s leading receiver this season.

Nearly half of the respondents went with Brian Thomas Jr., who paced the Jags as a rookie in 2024.

The development of Thomas Jr., now entering his third NFL season, is perhaps the most important storyline of Jacksonville’s offseason. If the former LSU star can bounce back from what was an underwhelming sophomore campaign… good luck stopping Liam Coen’s offense.

“He’s been locked in,” Jakobi Meyers said of his young teammate earlier this month. “He’s a smart dude. I don’t think he gets enough credit...

Jaguars draft class: 5 things to know about Tanner Koziol

When the Jacksonville Jaguars selected tight end Tanner Koziol in the fifth round of the 2026 NFL Draft, many fans were introduced to him for the first time.

Unlike some prospects who arrive with five-star recruiting rankings and household-name college programs on their résumé, Koziol took a much less conventional route to the NFL. His journey included light recruitment out of high school, multiple transfers, record-breaking production, and even a dog named Jaxson who may have seen his Jaguars future before anyone else.

As Jacksonville fans get to know one of the newest members of the roster, here are five...
