Jacksonville Jaguars fans finally have a confirmed date for the end of their “NFL deadzone”, summer wait for 2026. The exact timeline between the Jaguars wrapping up their Mandatory Minicamp and Organized Training Activities, and training camp beginning has now been confirmed by the NFL, with the league, on Monday confirming that Jacksonville is scheduled to kick off this year’s Training Camp on Saturday, July 25th, with their rookie class set to report at that time. The veteran players will follow shortly after, with their mandatory reporting date set for Tuesday, July 28th.


Joint Practice Dates Announced

And for the first time in recent memory, the Jaguars are set for a three-opponent preseason slate featuring joint practice sessions with each, before taking the field. The full breakdown of Jacksonville’s 2026 preseason and joint practice schedule is as follows:

Preseason Game 1: at New Orleans Saints

The Jaguars open their preseason on the road, traveling to Louisiana for joint practices with the New Orleans Saints on Thursday, August 13th. The two teams will then meet in the preseason opener on Saturday, August 15th at 3 pm (EST).

Preseason Game 2: vs. Carolina Panthers
Jacksonville then returns home to host the Carolina Panthers for joint practices on Wednesday, August 19th, before the two teams square off in Preseason Game 2 on Friday, August 21st at 6:30 pm (EST).

Preseason Game 3: vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The Jaguars then close out their 2026 preseason at home, hosting the Tampa Bay Buccaneers for joint practices beginning on Tuesday, August 25th. The preseason finale kicks off in Jacksonville on Friday, August 28th at 6:30 pm (EST).

Three weeks of joint practice sessions; three preseason matchups, with two taking place in Duval; and a Jaguars roster with genuine SuperBowl aspirations heading into the 2026 season.
