Cam Skattebo’s participation in a staged WWE event on Monday at Madison Square Garden that involved some pushing and shoving between Giants players and WWE Superstars drew a mixed reaction. Some fans loved it, others wished that three weeks post surgery for a gruesome ankle injury Skattebo had avoided anything even remotely dangerous to his recovery.
Giants’ interim head coach Mike Kafka was unperturbed.
“I trust Skatt,” Kafka said on Wednesday.
Kafka said he knew several players were going to the WWE show on Monday.

New York Giants’ quarterback Jaxson Dart, who missed Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers, with a concussion, took the next step in the NFL concussion protocol on Wednesday by participating in a non-contact practice.
Dart stretched with teammates last Friday, but this will be his first real practice action since suffering his concussion Week 10 against the Chicago Bears. This would indicate that Dart is trending toward being available Sunday when the Giants face the Detroit Lions in a Week 12 matchup.

The 2-9 Giants have lost five straight games this season. Over the past two seasons, they have lost 11 consecutive road games. Their last victory away from MetLife Stadium came in Week 5 of the 2024 season, a 29-20 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.

New York Giants left tackle Andrew Thomas said Monday that the offensive line is beginning to find its rhythm, pointing to improved communication and cohesion up front but emphasized that none of it matters until the team starts finishing games.
