Good morning, New York Giants fans!
New York Giants. Harbaugh’s offseason jump from Baltimore to New York makes the Ravens more intriguing while simultaneously giving the Giants...

It has been a long time since playoff-caliber teams looked at their schedule and had to worry about the New York Giants.
That, however, could come to an end in 2026.
Fox analyst Greg Olsen said recently on Colin Cowherd’s podcast that the Giants are his sleeper team this year. Olsen believes that the Giants are primed to take the NFL — or at least the NFL media — by surprise and come away with a 10-win season.
I think you look back on last year’s team the way they lost some of those games, the endings to the...

The New York Giants are gearing up for training camp in July. Each team in the NFC East has restructured its roster in hopes of success in the upcoming 2026 season. This is the third post in our position-by-position look at the NFC East; we have reviewed the cornerbacks and the safeties so far.
The team with the best positional group is assigned four points, and the “worst” receives one point. It is a complex formula, up there with E=MC², but we’ll attempt to deliver the information in a palatable manner, and I’m sure it will be well received by...

Paulson Adebo did not give the New York Giants their money’s worth in 2025 after signing a three-year, $54 million contract with $38.5 million guaranteed.
Signed to be the Giants’ No. 1 cornerback, Adebo had just one interception, eight passes defensed, his worst passer rating against since 2022 (98.2), and the worst completion percentage against of his five-year career (66.3).
Yet, Adebo lands at No. 6 on our list of most important Giants for 2026.
Why?
Because Adebo, entering his age-27 season, played like a top 10 NFL shutdown cornerback in the two seasons before signing with the Giants.

I wonder if there is any NFL fan base that agonizes more over the contracts given to their players than that of the New York Giants. People worry about the Giants ledger relative to the salary cap, and just as often, react viscerally to a player getting as little as $3-5 million per year in a free agent contract, never mind one in double digits. Often the two are related, because even with a new head coach and a new senior VP of football operations (Dawn Aponte), the Giants continue to refuse to use the tools available to general managers...

When we started this series of the top 10 New York Giants, we were clear that it is based on “most important” and not “most talented” players. The next player on our list is a perfect example.
Veteran nose tackle DJ Reader is not the seventh-most talented player on the Giants’ roster. Reader is a 32-year-old entering his 11th NFL season who has never been a Pro Bowl or All-Pro player. Still, he checks in at No. 7 on our list of most important Giants entering the 2026 season.
Why? Lots of reasons.
Who he is replacing

The 2027 quarterback class is already generating a historic amount of buzz, and that’s driving excitement in this year’s college football season and the 2027 draft as a whole. That said, it doesn’t take much time at all to realize that this is going to be a very talented draft at several positions, with wide receiver chief amongst them.
It just makes sense to start with Jeremiah Smith out of Ohio State, even though there is, frankly, no chance that the New York Giants will be in a position to draft Smith unless something incredibly unexpected happens. To get Smith,...

The New York Giants have a new leader in the locker room with John Harbaugh calling the shots. Each team in the NFC East has restructured its roster in hopes of success in the upcoming 2026 season. We began a position-by-position look at the division on Wednesday by reviewing how the teams rank at safety. Today, we move to cornerback.
The team with the best positional group is assigned four points, and the “worst” receives one point. I’m sure it will be well received by all fan bases, of course. With that, let’s talk cornerbacks!

I usually ignore the annual “dumpster fire” series of posts Jimmy Kempski of the Philly Voice pens, trashing the Philadelphia Eagles’ NFC East opposition. This year, I decided to respond to Kempski’s ‘10 reasons the Giants will be a dumpster fire‘.
Maybe that’s because the Giants have actually been a dumpster fire more often than not since winning the 2011 Super Bowl, and I believe that is going to turn with the hiring of John Harbaugh as head coach.
Kempski’s 10 reasons, and my responses, are below.
Harbaugh is 63 years of age,...

Speaking of former first-round picks in that scheme: Maybe there is still hope for Deonte Banks with the Giants? The Giants then, predictably, declined Banks’s fifth-year option for 2027, turning...

How good the New York Giants will be in 2027 will come down to a few things. Most important will be coaching and quarterback play, but the play of the roster as a whole will support both.
The top end of the Giants’ roster boasts players who can be among the very best at their positions in the NFL. Andrew Thomas is among the NFL’s best left tackles, Malik Nabers has the potential to join the ranks of the elite receivers, and Brian Burns was in the DPOY conversation before Myles Garrett ascended to a higher plane of sack existence....
