Cam Skattebo’s participation in a staged WWE event on Monday at Madison Square Garden that involved some pushing and shoving between Giants players and WWE Superstars drew a mixed reaction. Some fans loved it, others wished that three weeks post surgery for a gruesome ankle injury Skattebo had avoided anything even remotely dangerous to his recovery.
Giants’ interim head coach Mike Kafka was unperturbed.
“I trust Skatt,” Kafka said on Wednesday.
Kafka said he knew several players were going to the WWE show on Monday.

New York Giants’ quarterback Jaxson Dart, who missed Sunday’s game against the Green Bay Packers, with a concussion, took the next step in the NFL concussion protocol on Wednesday by participating in a non-contact practice.
Dart stretched with teammates last Friday, but this will be his first real practice action since suffering his concussion Week 10 against the Chicago Bears. This would indicate that Dart is trending toward being available Sunday when the Giants face the Detroit Lions in a Week 12 matchup.
With Cam Skattebo out for the season and Tyrone Tracy...

The New York Giants will seek to end a pair of ugly losing streaks on Sunday when they travel to Michigan to face the Detroit Lions.
The 2-9 Giants have lost five straight games this season. Over the past two seasons, they have lost 11 consecutive road games. Their last victory away from MetLife Stadium came in Week 5 of the 2024 season, a 29-20 victory over the Seattle Seahawks.
The 6-4 Lions have lost two of their last three games. FanDuel Sportsbook, though, lists Detroit as 10.5-point favorites to get back on track.
The game will mark Mike Kafka’s...

New York Giants left tackle Andrew Thomas said Monday that the offensive line is beginning to find its rhythm, pointing to improved communication and cohesion up front but emphasized that none of it matters until the team starts finishing games.
Thomas said the group handled Green Bay’s shifting defensive fronts well, crediting clearer communication and execution for one of the line’s more consistent performances of the season.
“Communication, the MIKE point, technique and then finish — that was a big part of it,” Thomas said. “I think our group is doing well. We’re improving. We just have to stay on...

The New York Giants’ defense, led by a front seven many thought would be among the best in the league, was supposed to be the strength of the team in 2025. Many believed that with the assembled talent, the Giants should be a top 10 defense.
Things have, as every Giants fan knows, gone horribly wrong.

Good morning, New York Giants fans!

New York Giants’ running back Tyrone Tracy Jr. reminded people around the NFL of an important fact against the Green Bay Packers. He reminded people that while the Giants are missing Malik Nabers and Cam Skattebo, they’re not completely out of offensive weapons.
After all, Tracy was a 1,000-yard player himself last year, despite not being a significant part of the offense until Week 5.
And he echoed his 2024 performance against the Packers. Last year he averaged 4.4 yards per carry and 7.5 yards per reception. Against the Packers, Tracy averaged 4.6 yards per carry and an impressive 12.8...

New York Giants’ rookie edge defender Abdul Carter is aggressively playing defense against the idea that he slept through a practice last week, leading to his not starting Sunday against the Green Bay Packers.
Some might say even more aggressively than Carter, who has only a half-sack this season after being drafted No. 3 overall, has played defense on the field this season.
Interim head coach Mike Kafka held Carter out of the first series on Sunday, a disciplinary move that came in Kafka’s first week after taking over for the fired Brian Daboll.
There have also been reports that...

The New York Giants sustained their fifth consecutive loss in Mike Kafka’s head coaching debut. New York fell 27-20 to the Green Bay Packers, despite possessing the football for 10 more minutes and out-gaining the Packers by forty yards. The Giants, in part, were able to possess the football due to a dedication to the rushing attack and the overall effectiveness of the ground game.
Sure, 3.7 yards per carry is nothing to write home about. New York picked up 142 yards on 38 total rushing attempts with three rushing touchdowns (two by Devin Singletary and one by Jameis Winston)....

The 2-9 New York Giants, with a five-game losing streak and an interim head coach in his second week on the job, will be double-digit underdogs when they go on the road in Week 12 to face the Detroit Lions. FanDuel Sportsbook has the current line 10.5 points.
The Giants won in two of Jaxson Dart’s first three starts, teasing the possibility that things were finally beginning to change for a team that has done far more losing than winning over the past 15 years. Since then, though, that hope has been dashed.
A five-game losing streak rife with defensive...

With 2025 first-round draft pick and current New York Giants starting quarterback Jaxson Dart missing last Sunday’s game against Green Bay with a concussion, and the reality that it was the fourth time he had been tested for a concussion this season, a logical question to ask is: Should Dart not be running with the ball as much as he has been?
Dart had no known injury history at Ole Miss aside from a knee meniscus tear and MCL sprain that occurred in 2021. Let’s provide some context for his pro career to date by looking at his college and...
