Many in the New York Giants fan base, probably even a majority, wanted general manager Joe Schoen fired after a two-year stretch that saw the Giants go 7-27. Voters in a poll here at Big Blue View seem to believe by a wide margin that ownership made the wrong decision by retaining Schoen.

New York Giants wide receiver Malik Nabers, rehabbing from a torn ACL, said Monday he is “not really sure” if he will be ready to play when the 2026 season starts next September.
“If my body doesn’t feel right then I’m not gonna go out there,” Nabers said.

The Cleveland Browns have fired head coach Kevin Stefanski. In doing so, they may have provided the New York Giants with the top candidate in their own coaching search.
Rumors have been swirling for days that Stefanski could be fired, with reports coming in from ESPN, The Athletic, the NFL Network, and NBC Sports. The New York Giants had one of the most difficult schedules in the NFL in 2025. With the full schedule of 2026 opponents now set, we know that the 2026 season doesn’t look much easier.
The Giants will play the teams from the AFC South (Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans, Indianapolis Colts, Tennessee Titans) and NFC West (Seattle Seahawks, San Francisco 49ers, Arizona Cardinals, Los Angeles Rams) next season. They will also play the Detroit Lions, New Orleans Saints, and Cleveland Browns.
