The Miami Dolphins’ 2025 campaign is slowly circling the drain, and another inevitable rebuild is right around the corner. In years past, we’ve learned that it’s never too early to get a closer look at some of the nation’s top players, and this year is no exception.

As expected, Miami Dolphins quarterback Tua Tagovailoa will officially start Sunday’s matchup vs. the Los Angeles Chargers, head coach Mike McDaniel confirmed during his Friday afternoon press conference (10/10).

Earlier in the week, Tagovailoa showed up on the injury report with injuries to both his hip and thumb, but as expected, neither will keep Tagovailoa out of action vs. the Chargers. When asked whether or not Tua had any issues gripping the ball, McDaniel didn’t seem concerned.

It was reported on Wednesday that Tua Tagovailoa was dealing with hip and thumb injuries, but the Miami Dolphins expect their quarterback to be out there Sunday when they take on the Los Angeles Chargers.
