Dallas is getting some key players back soon.
FRISCO, Texas – On Wednesday, the Cowboys officially opened the 21-day return to practice windows for C Cooper Beebe, LB DeMarvion Overshown, and rookie CB Shavon Revel Jr.
Brian Schottenheimer made the announcement of the trio’s imminent return to the practice field on Monday. Now, Wednesday’s practice serves as their first opportunity to rejoin their teammates in individual and team drills, although they’ll likely be limited to start out.
The 21-day windows...

The Dallas Cowboys had what could be a turning point game by demolishing the Washington Commanders 44-22 in an NFC East contest. The Cowboys offense did what they were supposed to do, put a huge number up on the scoreboard, and they did that while welcoming back CeeDee Lamb. But that part wasn’t so surprising.
It was the play of the defense that caught us all off guard. A unit that had been pitiful rose up and did a fantastic job of smothering the Commanders offense. While it’s true the Commanders were without some key playmakers on offense, that hadn’t...

The Dallas Cowboys made a roster transaction Tuesday afternoon. No, it wasn’t the acquisition of Maxx Crosby everyone around Cowboys Nation seems to be hoping for for, but instead it was the decision to activate wide receiver Jonathan Mingo from injured reserve.
Jonathan Mingo was a former second-round pick (39th overall) by the Carolina Panthers back in 2023. He was acquired via trade by the Dallas Cowboys last year on November 5, 2024, costing them a 2025 fourth-round draft pick. He caught just 17 passes for 167 yards last year after arriving in Dallas and has so far spent the...

Desperately needing a win to remain in the playoff chase, the Dallas Cowboys crushed the Washington Commanders to move into second place in the NFC East. With the win, Dallas could look to add help and has been rumored to be interested in Las Vegas Raiders edge rusher Maxx Crosby. Not likely, but who knows?
What we do know is that in some shape or another, help is on the way, if only down the line. The Cowboys opened the practice windows for Cooper Beebe, Shavon Revel and DeMarvion Overshown to return from injury. All Dallas has to do is...

As we near the midpoint of the season and the Cowboys sit in second place in the NFC East. And after the Eagles came incredibly close to losing their third consecutive game this weekend, one can envision a world where the Cowboys win this thing. You have to squint, sure, but it’s there.
Is it real, though? The win over the Commanders certainly felt encouraging, but what does the data say? Let’s dive into this week’s analytics roundup, where strength of schedule adjustments are nearly at full strength and resulting in some pretty marginal shifts in the hierarchy of the...

The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly looking to add defensive help before this season’s NFL trade deadline.
During a dump of buzz-worthy notes, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler specifically said that the Cowboys are on the hunt for an “impact” defensive player. A reminder that the trade deadline is November 4th.
My understanding of the situation is the Cowboys are on the hunt for an impact defensive player and have reached out to teams throughout the league — likely all of them — to gauge interest with a number of players, Crosby presumably being one. So yes, I think there’s interest. My...

As the Dallas Cowboys prepare for a high-altitude showdown with the Denver Broncos this Sunday, the matchup carries extra meaning beyond just midseason momentum.
Dallas enters the contest at 3-3-1, a team that has flashed offensive brilliance behind QB Dak Prescott and WR CeeDee Lamb but remains shaky on defense due to a string of injuries to key starters and a new scheme under DC Matt Eberflus.
Meanwhile, the Broncos have quietly become one of the AFC’s hottest teams.
QB Bo Nix, in his sophomore season, has led Denver to a 5-2 record, including a four-game winning streak, while the...

The Dallas Cowboys are on the road this week and will visit the Denver Broncos. Amazingly, the Cowboys have not beaten the Broncos since their last season of serious note, 1995, when the franchise last reached an NFC Championship Game and Super Bowl as they won it all that year.
All told the Cowboys have lost seven straight games to the Broncos as Denver has been a weird challenge for them in recent history. This year’s team will present some difficulty as well as Sean Payton has Bo Nix and Co. playing at a high level with a 5-2 record....

A fair warning to the pessimists out there: this column is overflowing with Kool-Aid. Proceed with caution.
It’s hard not to feel optimistic about the Cowboys right now, though. They obliterated the Commanders on Sunday, which simultaneously catapulted them into second place in the NFC East while dropping their rival – who reached the conference championship game a year ago – under .500 on the season.
Combine that with an Eagles squad that came dangerously close to losing their third straight game this week, and hope abounds, rightfully so.
There was context to consider. The Commanders didn’t have Terry McLaurin...

Back in the lineup against Washington, Booker moved like a man who left the training room weeks ago. He played with quick feet and zero limp on his ankle. He reset the line of scrimmage on early downs, snapped off clean pass-offs on twists, and gave Dak Prescott plenty of runway to climb.
Booker’s best trait is how...

After the most complete win of the season last week against the Washington Commanders, the Dallas Cowboys now find themselves in complete control of second place in the NFC East.
They are 3-3-1 and trail the Eagles by two games, but with a lot of football left, this game on Sunday in Denver could be a true turning point for this football team.
The Broncos’ defense is one of the best in football, and the Dallas offense is the best in football, so I think it will be a battle between these two.
Date: Sunday, October, 26th...

The Dallas Cowboys are reportedly in the mix for a hypothetical Maxx Crosby trade. To say we are all excited would be underselling the situation to the highest possible degree.
Landing Crosby would immediately stabilize the Cowboys defense in a serious way which is why so many people want to see it happen. For today’s discussion we want to live in a hypothetical world where it does and assume that it requires one of the Cowboys’ first round picks.
Following Week 7 the Cowboys hold the 13th overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft by way of themselves and the...
