Browns WR Cedric Tillman’s return vs Jets could be huge

Attrition affects every NFL team. Starters on both sides of the ball will get nicked or outright injured. Sometimes, the player can work through it, while others aren’t placed on IR, but have to sit for a game or two.

This happened to WR Cedric Tillman. He suffered a hamstring injury. Now, he is listed as available to play against the New York Jets this weekend, according to Kelsey Russo, reporter for the Cleveland Browns. He is officially listed as questionable, but that designation should change before kickoff, with Tillman needing to be activated from injured reserve.

Browns roster, future: Contending soon is a possibility

Going into the season, no one expected the Cleveland Browns to be contenders of any sort. Whether it was making the playoffs orthe Super Bowl, it just wasn’t a possibility this year. Cleveland’s Super Bowl window is closed until further notice, but its playoff contention is just temporarily closed.

In the grand scheme of things, is it ideal that the Browns are 2-6 right now? Not necessarily, but the team could easily be 4-4 if the ball bounces the other way. Cleveland has been competitive in most games this season, mainly due to their defense, but the maligned offense has...

Browns looking to make a shift in front office philosophy or staying the course with Andrew Berry?

Cleveland Browns’ Chief Strategy Officer Paul DePodesta just announced that he will be leaving his role with the Browns to join the Colorado Rockies in the MLB. DePodesta had a previous career in baseball, so this move wasn’t entirely surprising; however, it does raise some questions about whether Cleveland plans to make any changes within their front office.

Owners Dee and Jimmy Haslam thanked DePodesta for his time with the team in a release to the press:

“We want to thank Paul for his contributions to the Cleveland Browns over the past nine and a half seasons. Paul’s humble...

NFL news: On the field and off the field, a lot going on around the league

The NFL season just keeps rolling along. Things change every year, including for the Cleveland Browns, in a couple of ways.

I interviewed halfback Paul Hornung of the Green Bay Packers once in Las Vegas at a Hall of Fame show, working for the Beckett Football Price Guide. One of my questions was how different football was now versus in his playing days. He said one major thing he noticed was the rule about the ground not being able to cause a fumble. He said in his day,...

Browns vs. Jets: Week 10 Need to Know

The Cleveland Browns open the second half of their 2025 NFL Season on Sunday when they take on the New York Jets.

Both teams are coming off their bye week and are in a close race with the New Orleans Saints, Tennessee Titans, New York Giants, Miami Dolphins, and Las Vegas Raiders to see who has what it takes to claim the No. 1 overall selection in the 2026 NFL Draft.

The game marks the debut of offensive coordinator Tommy Rees as the play caller on offense for the Browns. Rees will attempt to inject some life into quarterback Dillon...

Browns, Jets injury report for Week 10: 1 out, 8 questionable

Two teams that have combined to win three games have three times that many players listed on their final injury report for Week 10. The Cleveland Browns hope to bounce back after their bye week with a new offensive play caller and some positive injury news on Friday. The New York Jets are also coming off their bye week, but spent the NFL trade deadline dealing away two of their best players.

Given the number of teams that are struggling this season, including 14 of them with three or fewer wins, the loser of Week 10’s matchup between the Browns...

Browns injury updates are surprisingly huge Friday for Week 10 vs the Jets

In what many outside of the two cities consider a tank off between two bad teams, the Cleveland Browns and New York Jets will match up in Week 10. With the two teams taking different paths toward the 2026 NFL draft, including a rumor that the Jets are not looking at the quarterbacks this year, the result from Week 10 was likely drastically impacted by the NFL trade deadline.

Despite both teams coming back from bye weeks, injuries at the start of the week created some concerns. Then, the Browns added TE Harold Fannin Jr. to the report on Thursday,...

2026 NFL draft: Browns mock draft impact of 1st vs 2nd round QBs

2026 NFL draft: Browns mock draft impact of 1st vs 2nd round QBs

November is usually the month when NFL Draft scouts and talent evaluators begin to dive a little deeper into the player pool for the upcoming draft cycle.

There are currently two ways that the Browns can attack the 2026 NFL Draft. Andrew Berry and Co. could either take a quarterback with their first pick or they could address offensive tackle/wide receiver.

Let’s take a gander at what things could look like if Cleveland decides to take a quarterback first:

If the Browns decide that both Dillon Gabriel and Shedeur Sanders aren’t their guy, they may go after a player like...

2026 NFL draft: Tank teams, Jets, Raiders and more, mean Browns Top 5 pick is unlikely

2026 NFL draft: Tank teams, Jets, Raiders and more, mean Browns Top 5 pick is unlikely

Somehow, the Cleveland Browns did kinda lose in their bye week. With the Jacksonville Jaguars winning in overtime and a few other results, the Browns 2026 NFL draft order saw both of their first-round picks drop while the team sat idle. The team also sat mostly idle at the NFL trade deadline, with a change of offensive play caller and Paul DePodesta’s departure much more impactful and interesting than trading away a backup defender.

Even Week 10’s Thursday Night Football results moved Cleveland’s pick down a spot, for the moment, as the Las Vegas Raiders lost again.

[With all the...

2026 NFL Draft: 4 QBs who could be on the Browns’ radar on days 1 and 2

As we get closer to 2026 and next year’s NFL Draft, it’s getting more and more clear that the Browns absolutely need to take a quarterback within the first two rounds in April.

Dillon Gabriel has been incredibly inconsistent and probably won’t amount to much more than a backup in the NFL, and nobody knows what Shedeur Sanders can really do yet. He might end up getting a string of starts to end the season, but even then, Cleveland will most likely want to select another quarterback early in the 2026 NFL Draft.

Here are two quarterbacks in rounds one...

Talking Browns vs. Jets: New York state of mind for Week 10

The Cleveland Browns will be in New Jersey on Sunday to take on the New York Jets.

In what will be a battle between two teams that, while not tanking, are perhaps also not all that upset if they lose, given that both will be vying for a prime opportunity to select a quarterback in the 2026 NFL Draft.

The Jets, at 1-7, are currently slotted to select at No. 3 overall next spring, while the Browns are at No. 6. New York made some bold moves at the trade deadline by trading cornerback Sauce Gardner to the Indianapolis Colts...
