Broncos Country has spoken, and in an outcome after my own heart, Broncos Country loves the current team defense but nothing can be better than the squad that broke Cam Newton, defeated the Patriots in the AFC Championship and was hands-down the reason the team even made it to Super Bowl 50, let alone walked away with the Lombardi.
No doubt the 2025 version is predicted to pick up where it left off last season and continue wreaking havoc in the league.
Projecting them to be one of the best in the NFL this season, several sports analysts have ranked...
The offseason hype around the Denver Broncos have been both fun to consume as a fan and worrisome due to the last decade of overall misery out here in Broncos Country. This time it actually does feel different. The franchise is building towards something that sure looks like it’ll be a run of some relevancy and success. Even so, they’re still a young team with a lot to prove.
With our sportsbook partner being FanDuel Sportsbook, I went over there to check in on the projected win totals for the Broncos this year. The odds look fairly promising if you...
Tomorrow afternoon, the Denver Broncos will play their preseason finale vs. the New Orleans Saints. They are coming off two dominating performances vs. the 49ers and Cardinals and will look to finish the preseason on a high note with a victory over the Saints.
Unlike most preseason finales, we will see the Broncos’ starters play 8 to 10 snaps, according to Head Coach Sean Payton. They did not play in last weekend’s preseason game due to the joint practice a few days earlier, so they will see a series or two in this one. After that, the Broncos’ second and...
The Denver Broncos are just a few weeks from kicking off their 2025 regular season at home against the Tennessee Titans. Between now and then, some players will be sent packing with others making their way to the team’s 16-man practice squad. One player who is a sure-fire bet to make the final 53-man roster is veteran safety Brandon Jones.
Jones had a positive impact with his first season with the Broncos. A versatile piece in the backend of Vance Joseph’s defense, the former Texas Longhorns standout had a career year in 2024. Over the course of sixteen games, he...
When the Denver Broncos take on the New Orleans Saints Saturday afternoon, it will be the last chance for many players to make their case in pursuit of a spot on the final 53-man roster. While I believe a good portion of the roster is set in stone, I think there are a handful of depth spots of for grabs. Without further ado, here are three players I think are on the cusp of earning a role with the squad if they impress against the Saints.
A lot of roster projections have the Broncos...
Earlier this month, we learned that Broncos tight end Nate Adkins underwent ankle surgery and would miss some time while he recovered. Many assumed, myself included, that he would be placed on the short-term injured reserve list, miss four weeks, and then return to the field for the Broncos.
However, Head Coach Sean Payton provided some good news on Adkins’ injury return. He told reporters that while Adkins may not be ready for week one, he should be back by weeks two or three and will avoid being placed on the short-term injured reserve.
“I can’t say he’s going...
Earlier in the week, I released a post-training camp 53-man roster projection for the Broncos. Well, things have changed since then. First, I was made aware of a new injured reserve rule (thanks, Ozark!), which clears a few things up, and now, the Denver Broncos traded away wide receiver Devaughn Vele. All these things made that projection fairly useless, so why not do another?
In this 53-man roster projection, I will have the Broncos using their two injured reserve slots on tight end Nate Adkins and linebacker Drew Sanders. Both are expected to land on the IR to start the...
It’s been around a decade since the Denver Broncos had this good of odds to make the NFL Playoffs entering the season, and it makes plenty of sense. They’ve done nothing but add to and improve a roster and coaching staff that made the Playoffs last year, and that’s part of the reason FanDuel has them as favorites to make the postseason this year.

For this week’s survey, we’re asking fans whether this Broncos defense can be as good as the one in 2015 that propelled the franchise to its third Lombardi Trophy.
Please take our surveyLast year the Broncos’ defense was once again in punishing mode, and by all measures the unit got better over the offseason.
So it’s not absurd to think the 2025 version could be one of the best ever in Denver. But will it be better than in 2015?
Even with Pat Surtain ready to follow up his Defensive Player of the Year honor a second year in a...
Good morning, Broncos Country.
Yesterday evening, news broke that the Denver Broncos had agreed to trade Devaughn Vele to the New Orleans Saints. That’s an idea that our very own Scotty Payne had posited over the past few weeks. However, it wasn’t honestly something I thought would happen.
In a surprise haul, the Broncos will receive a fourth-round pick in the 2026 NFL Draft, as well as a seventh-round pick in the 2027 NFL Draft. There is a great possibility that selection ends up being a very early Day 3 pick—as the Saints are currently projected to be one of...
Surprise!
The Denver Broncos announced that they have traded wide receiver Devaughn Vele to the New Orleans Saints for a 2026 4th-round pick and a 2027 7th-round pick.
I have mentioned this as a possibility in recent weeks, and it happened. Devaughn Vele seemed like the odd man out in the Broncos’ wide receiver rotation, and it made sense for the team to listen to offers for him. In the end, they turned a 7th round selection that entered the league as an older rookie into a 4th and 7th round selection.
That’s a pretty good deal.
What made Vele...
According to 9NEWS Denver’s Mike Klis, the Denver Broncos have signed defensive lineman Michael Dwumfour and have waived rookie undrafted free agent linebacker J.B. Brown. Rookie defensive linemen Kristian Williams did not practice on Tuesday, and the Broncos decided to add some depth to their defensive line for the preseason finale vs. the Saints.
Michael Dwumfour is a 27-year-old former undrafted free agent who has bounced around the league a bit during his short career. During his short career, he has had stints with the New York Jets, Houston Texans, San Francisco 49ers, Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans, the Texans again,...
