Cannot express here how grateful I was to be part the Buffalo Bills media tour — along with Matt Warren — of the new Highmark Stadium before the ribbon cutting ceremony that featured Terry Pegula, Mary Wilson, Kathy Hocul and other prominent on Tuesday morning.

The Buffalo Bills new Highmark Stadium is a colossal beauty, a remarkable structure that strikes a wonderful balance of new-age, executive-suite extravagance and vintage Buffalo quaintness. Oh, and this stadium is going to be loud. Incredibly loud. The steepness of the four levels of seats are a stark, acoustics-friendly contrast to the old stadium’s expansive fan arrangement, and the canopy encloses the top perimeter to act as a reverberation board for noise, sending all sound waves downward toward the field.

Below you’ll find my thoughts and first impressions of everything regarding the fan experience inside new Highmark Stadium.

Desmond Reid, a rookie running back from the University of Pittsburgh, was released from IR by the Buffalo Bills on Monday after an undisclosed injury suffered at one of the spring practices.

Aaron Wilson was first on the news.

Reid was originally waived on June 11 with the injury following being signed by the team on May 8 after going undrafted.

The procedural move here allows Reid to sign with another club and hints at Reid’s injury not being a 2026 season-ender.
