Players to watch, keys to the game for Cincinnati Bengals vs. Buffalo Bills

This is a huge game on Sunday for both teams. For the Bengals, they’re looking to keep their playoff hopes alive. The Bills are looking to keep pace with the Patriots in the AFC East and solidify their standing in the Wild Card race in the event they don’t win the division.

Joe Burrow and Josh Allen are both incredible this time of the season. It’s hard to bet against either of them with their career records in December and January. That’s what makes this game so crucial for both teams.

There are a lot of great quarterback matchups in...

Bengals vs. Bills: 5 matchups to watch

Bengals vs. Bills: 5 matchups to watch

I have good news and bad news.

The Bengals aren’t in the playoffs right now, and the road to get there will not be easy and will require help.

That’s the bad news.

The good news is this: if you like playoff football, you’re about to watch it, because if the Bengals lose, the season’s practically over. I know it’s not technically over, but winning the AFC North with a 9-8 record is already improbable enough. Let’s not complicate it by trying to navigate the waters of winning the division with a losing record.

So yeah, this is basically playoff...

Zac Taylor tried to hire Ben Johnson as defensive coach after 2020 season

Zac Taylor tried to hire Ben Johnson as defensive coach after 2020 season

Lost in the flood of NFL news this week was a surprisingly interesting nugget: Cincinnati Bengals head coach Zac Taylor admitted he tried to bring current Chicago Bears head coach Ben Johnson to Cincinnati as a defensive coach after the 2020 season, per Mike Petraglia.

At the time, Johnson had worked for the Detroit Lions as an offensive quality control coach before climbing the ladder to tight ends coach and, eventually, offensive coordinator. Chicago hired him away in 2025 to lead the Bears—and the rest is rapidly changing NFL history.

Meanwhile, the Bengals—then powered by Lou Anarumo’s defense and still...

Check out highlights of his impressive performance against the Baltimore Ravens on Thanksgiving below.

The Bengals QB is undefeated against the Bills, and he’ll likely have Tee Higgins back.

Cincinnati Bengals 2026 NFL Draft prospects to watch during conference championships

Cincinnati Bengals 2026 NFL Draft prospects to watch during conference championships

BYU versus Texas Tech

The Big 12 Championship will kick off at Noon on Saturday. The Cincinnati Bengals could be looking at several prospects playing in this one. For BYU, they have several defensive prospects of note. Two linebackers of interest for day three include Jack Kelly and Isaiah Glasker. Another player on the defensive side of the ball is Keanu Tanuvasa. The defensive tackle is another day three prospect, if he declares.

My top rated prospect for the Cougars is on the offensive side of the ball. Running back LJ Martin could be drafted prior to the end...

Bengals moving up in latest NFL Power Rankings

The Cincinnati Bengals are back. Well, maybe not back, but at least they are moving in the right direction.

After an impressive 32-14 win over the Baltimore Ravens, the Bengals moved up to No. 22 in the latest ESPN NFL Power Rankings, up from No. 25 just over a week ago. Pro Football & Sports Network had Cincinnati at No. 17, its highest ranking since week two of the regular season.

At least one publication, TWSN, now gives the Bengals the inside track to the AFC Division title after Cincinnati, whose much-maligned defense forced five turnovers, snapped the Ravens’ five-game...

While the Bengals’ playoff odds are long, there is still a chance that they can win the division if they win out. So against all odds, we get meaningful games in December.

It’s a Festivus miracle!

9 + 1

This weekend, the Bengals will have Joe Burrow and Ja’Marr Chase together for the first time since September 14th. This duo has won a triple crown, receiving a title and multiple Comeback Player of the Year awards. Bengals vs. Bills Injury Report: Tee Higgins will play; Joey Bosa out

It appears Sunday will be a snowy affair in Orchard Park, as the Cincinnati Bengals travel north to take on the Buffalo Bills in a big AFC matchup. The Bengals are looking to keep their playoff hopes alive and continue Joe Burrow’s winning streak over Josh Allen.

Friday’s injury report is usually a good indication of what players should be playing Sunday, and it appears the Bengals got some good news.

Wide receiver Tee Higgins (concussion) has cleared concussion protocol and is on track to play. Higgins suffered a scary-looking concussion in Week 12 against the New England Patriots, costing...

Zac Taylor gives an emphatic endorsement of Ken Anderson for the Pro Football Hall of Fame

Ken Anderson was recently announced as one of five senior finalists for the 2026 Pro Football Hall of Fame. Anderson has an extensive list of accolades to back his case up.

He is a 4x Pro Bowler, has been selected once each as a First- and Second-Team All-Pro, and won the NFL Most Valuable Player award in 1981. On top of all of those accomplishments, he was also named NFL Man of the Year in 1975.

Cincinnati Bengals coach Zac Taylor made his case for Anderson right after the finalist announcement was made.

Bengals at Bills game time, TV channel, odds and predictions

After a dominant win over the Ravens on Thanksgiving Night, the Cincinnati Bengals travel to Buffalo to face the Bills, as they continue their playoff push.

Cincinnati is 4-8, which is an oddly reminiscent status to last year, and they essentially need to win out for a chance at the division. They’ll need to get some help and engage in one of their trademark December runs, but it’s one game at a time right now.

Standing in their way is arguably the toughest game on the Bengals’ schedule this Sunday. Buffalo has seen some ups and downs this season, but...

3 key players to watch for Cincinnati Bengals vs Buffalo Bills

Joseph Ossai and Myles Murphy

Ossai had has most impactful game of the season against the Baltimore Ravens on Thanksgiving night. He recorded two sacks with eight pressures in the game. Him and Myles Murphy have really started to stack some quality games the last few weeks. Murphy added five pressures with a batted pass that led to an interception against Baltimore.

Facing Josh Allen and the Buffalo Bills will be an even bigger test for these young defensive ends. Trey Hendrickson is once again doubtful to play, Ossai and Murphy will need to continue producing in his absence....

Bengals vs. Bills Injury Report: Tee Higgins goes full, Joey Bosa and A.J. Epenesa get DNP

The Cincinnati Bengals are working toward a big AFC showdown against the Buffalo Bills on Sunday, and Thursday’s injury report brought some good news.

Tee Higgins (concussion) was a full participant in Thursday’s practice. He was limited on Wednesday, so the improvement in status indicates that he has a good chance to get back on the field this week. Higgins hasn’t played with Joe Burrow since Week 2.

Trey Hendrickson (hip/pelvis) was out of practice again, and head coach Zac Taylor already declared Hendrickson doubtful for Sunday. Basically, we can say he is out.

B.J. Hill got a rest day,...
