After watching the wild, exciting finish to Sunday’s matchup against the New York Giants that resulted in Brian Daboll being fired, I had all sorts of things ready to talk about that game.
But then Monday Night Football happened.
I’ve been sitting here for a big chunk of Tuesday, going, “Should I do it? Should I do it? It could eventually go wrong, and it could age really poorly. Yeah, I should do it. Who cares how it ages? All that matters is right now.”
Petty, thy name is Zimmerman. Let’s let this rip.

The Chicago Bears did it again!
On the latest Mac and Read Show, Evan McLean and Ross Read discuss the Bears’ exciting come-from-behind win against the New York Giants. They also talk about the incredible fourth quarter from the “Iceman” Caleb Williams and his growth this season, but also about the weakness of the Chicago defense. They’ll start to look at this Sunday’s big game aganst the Minnesota Vikings and how they can take it to their divisional rivals in their home dome.
Plus, they also hit on all the big NFL headlines from around Week 10, the Chicago Bulls...

Since their 0-2 start to the season, the Bears are 6-1.
Yes, they’re still 0-2 in the division. And the teams they have beaten aren’t exactly shaping up for playing deep into January. But keep in mind that expectations for this team were not very high.
We all wanted to see competent coaching and scheming, and growth from the quarterback. That was it.
But winning changes expectations, that’s the truth, and now fans want more.
The Bears are a tough team to rank in some ways because of their record. The NFL is full of mediocre teams.
Chicago will get...

Another week, another game winning drive for Caleb Williams and the Chicago Bears. That’s now four such drives on the season, tied for the league lead. It also ties Caleb for first place in single-season Chicago Bears franchise history with Jay Cutler (2009, 2010, 2015), Billy Wade (1962), and Bob Avellini (1977). One more breaks the record. Caleb’s 220 yards keeps him on pace to break the 4,000 yard mark and his one TD to Rome Odunze keeps him above the betting line pre-season odds of 23.5 but below Kramer’s team record of 29. Still a lot of time left...

1. The Brian Daboll firing drills this eternal point home: NFL teams have to stop letting a coach they’re leaning toward firing stay on the job longer than he should, let that coach draft a potential franchise quarterback, then fire that coach immediately, forcing said rookie QB to learn a new offense going into Year 2. We see it year after year across the league, including with the Bears last season. (In Chicago’s case, Eberflus should never have sniffed the chance to coach Williams.) The worst part: Daboll’s actually done a very nice job with Jaxson Dart, who looks like...

My brain hasn’t fully adjusted to this new Chicago Bears era.
There was a point in the second half of the game where I said to myself, “the Bears aren’t going to win this game.” And I believed it.
Then they forced a fumble and recovered it. They drove down for a touchdown. They got the ball back.
And by that point, I felt all right.
I’ve seen enough of Caleb Williams now to feel good when the Bears have the ball in a late-game situation down one score.
Will it always work out that way? Of course not. That’s...

You think you can predict the NFL from week to week? Think again! Week 10 was one of the more unpredictable weeks of the 2025 season, including our top-ranked team being blown out by a struggling Miami team, and the Patriots proving they are for real with their convincing win over a strong Buccaneers team. With the trade deadline in the rearview mirror, the second half of the season will become a war of attrition. After a crazy week of football, let’s take a look at how Week 11’s Power Rankings have shaken out.

The Bears signed C.J. Gardner-Johnson a mere 12 days ago, mostly in desperation, and it’s hard to believe the degree of impact he has already provided. Through two games, he has 12 tackles, 3 sacks, 1 FF, and a ton of energy within a unit that was hanging on by a thread.
A reminder – the Bears have been hit hard by the injury bug in their secondary.

I would have been happy if the Chicago Bears were in the playoff hunt after nine games, but after 10 weeks of football, they are in an even better spot.
With the Philadelphia Eagles’ win over the Green Bay Packers on Monday Night Football, the Bears have moved up in the current NFC playoff standings. They are currently in the sixth seed, a half-game ahead of the Packers and a full game behind the Rams.
There’s still a long way to go in the 2025 season, but not having to climb their way up the standings into a postseason spot...

Our partners at BreakingT have done it again! Their original Good, Better, Best shirt featuring several player signatures was a top seller amongst Chicago Bears fans, so they dropped another design! This time, it features Chicago’s young trio of superstars —quarterback Caleb Williams, wide receiver Rome Odunze, and tight end Colston Loveland — on a fresh Good, Better, Best design.
You can get an adult t-shirt in sizes S-XXXL, an adult hoodie in sizes S-XXXL, and a youth t-shirt in sizes S-XL.

The Chicago Bears have now had two games in a row where they snatched the Dub from the jaws of defeat. They did so against two teams they were favored to beat — so they did exactly what they were supposed to do — but that’s still not enough for some people. Some want blowouts. Some want eye-popping stats. Some want a flawless victory. Some want their gameday experience to feature wins with more panache.
I just want to watch my favorite team win.
