On Wednesday, the Carolina Panthers made a series of roster moves in preparation for training camp, which officially started today. The moves:

• Ikem Ekwonu was placed on the PUP list as he recovers from a torn patella tendon suffered in the playoffs
• Tershawn Wharton was placed on the PUP list as he recovers from neck surgery

Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Broderick Jones‘ future is uncertain, but there’s one NFL team that might be interested in kicking the tires on him in a trade.

Carolina Panthers starting right tackle Taylor Moton was diagnosed last month with a blood clot in his lung and he now is expected to miss time into the regular season, according to Adam Schefter of ESPN.
