“It’s not really about bouncing back, it’s about getter better every day,” Ward said. “I think we just have to get better at the little things, especially myself. We all have a lot of stuff to continue to get better at, and I’m excited for it.”
“It’s just sort of how he’s wired,” Callahan said of Ward. “Everything about his mental makeup and how he...
Chase and Big Joe had a great interview with the former Titans GM.
Chase and Big Joe had former Tennessee Titans general manager Jon Robinson on their show this morning. To my knowledge, it was the first interview JRob has done since he was fired as the Titans' GM. If you haven’t heard the interview yet, you can check it out here. They did a great job asking him the questions that fans wanted to hear.
To Robinson’s credit, he was pretty candid in his answers. Of course, there are things that he cannot talk about because he most likely...
Your daily roundup of Titans news and notes.
The disrespect continues.
Madden 26 ratings are out, and you won’t be surprised to know that the Tennessee Titans' rookie quarterback did not get a good mark. Ward got the second lowest rating on Madden of any first round pick, only ahead of Jaxson Dart. Ward got a 72. Dart got a 68.
It is going to be fun to watch Ward prove all of the doubters wrong.
Here is the full list of Madden ratings for the Titans' rookies:
It is a little surprising to me that Femi Oladejo gets the highest rating in the class. Oladejo has a...
It’s a good sign to already have QB1 and WR1 on the same page.
Last year, in Tennessee Titans’ training camp, it was widely reported that Will Levis and Calvin Ridley were having trouble getting on the same page in training camp. At the time, I was quick to dismiss it as no big deal because of the newness factor with the system, Levis as the starter, and Ridley in his first camp with the team. Well, it turned out there was something to it. Ridley totaled just twelve catches in the team’s first six games before having ten catches...
Xavier Restrepo is battling to make the Tennessee Titans’ roster
There was a lot of fanfare when the Tennessee Titans signed wide receiver Xavier Restrepo in undrafted free agency. Understandably so. Restrepo was a draftable talent who slid to UDFA status after a poor athletic performance at his pro day. More notably, he was the go-to target last season at Miami for Titans’ No. 1 overall quarterback Cam Ward, producing 69 receptions for 1,127 yards and 11 touchdowns.
We’re a handful of practices into Titans training camp and the Restrepo buzz hasn’t been quite as loud as once predicted. Ward...
Identifying the standouts from the early portion of Tennessee Titans training camp
The Tennessee Titans have had a handful of training camp practices, including Saturday’s “Back Together” session at Nissan Stadium. On Tuesday, the Titans will hold their first practice of camp in pads. That should increase the physical intensity as Brian Callahan prepares for the upcoming 2025 campaign.
To celebrate padded practices beginning, we’ve identified five standouts from Titans training camp so far.
Femi Oladejo has earned majority of first-team reps with Dre’Mont Jones at EDGE. Oladejo has taken advantage of those reps, routinely impacting the...

The Tennessee Titans waived/injured WR Treylon Burks today. It is a tough ending for the former first round pick. Burks was only able to play in 27 games in his three years in Tennessee. He caught just one touchdown pass.
This move doesn’t really change anything for the 2025 Titans. There is no shot they were counting on him to be a big part of the offense this year - even though he came into camp “in the best shape of his life.”
In the corresponding roster move, the Titans signed WR Ramel Keyton. The former Vol was signed...
The Tennessee Titans are stuck with Will Levis and Treylon Burks for another season
If the Tennessee Titans had two player-related situations to resolve this offseason, they were Will Levis and Treylon Burks. New general manager Mike Borgonzi inherited Levis from the previous GM (Ran Carthon), and Burks from two GMs (Jon Robinson!) ago. Neither player was projected to make the Titans’ 53-man roster in August.
Both Levis and Burks entered training camp as potential trade bargaining chips. Neither player had a ton of value, but Borgonzi and Chad Brinker are overseeing a “draft and develop” strategy. The more selections,...
It’s been a tough few years for the former first round pick.
The hits just keep coming for Tennessee Titans wide receiver Treylon Burks. The team has not confirmed his injury yet, but the reports are that he broke his collarbone yesterday in practice at Nissan Stadium. That will likely keep him out for a couple of months. Burks just hasn’t been able to stay healthy in his young NFL career.
It seems like every camp, once there is positive buzz around Burks, he suffers a major injury. This time, it comes not long after Cam Ward talked about how...
The roster churn continues in Tennessee.
The Tennessee Titans made a roster move this morning, signing wide receiver Matt Landers and releasing wide receiver Colton Dowell. Landers went undrafted in the 2023 NFL Draft but was signed as an undrafted free agent by the Seattle Seahawks. He has bounced around in the last two years, also spending time with the Carolina Panthers, Cleveland Browns, and New England Patriots, as well as some time in the XFL. It hasn’t worked out for Landers so far, but he’s got the physical tools to play in the league:
Maybe the Titans can unlock...
The rookie QB will no doubt use this to get better.
Years ago, when Marcus Mariota was a rookie, he went through the entire Tennessee Titans training camp without throwing an interception. That seemed like a great thing at the time. “Look at how good the rookie is.” Well, it turned out that it probably meant that he wasn’t taking enough chances in practice.
Today, at Titans practice, Cam Ward threw a really ugly interception:
Now, don’t get me wrong, if he throws this same pick in week 1, it will be a problem, but for now, it is all...
