The moment the Steelers selected Penn State’s Drew Allar in the 2026 NFL Draft, it became inevitable: We were in for an offseason of quarterback discourse.

A few weeks later, Pittsburgh made the long-awaited signing of Aaron Rodgers, leaving the team with four roster-able quarterbacks in the league that tends to only keep three after cutdown day.

How do you see it playing out?

Allow the stress of overreacting to the Pittsburgh Steelers moving their offensive lineman leave your body.

Close your eyes and imagine Craig Wolfley, frolicking downfield as a pulling guard. Then remember that The Wolf Man moved to tackle late in his Steelers career. Remember that Alan Faneca was an All-Pro, even when forced to play tackle for a season due to injuries. Remember that Dermontti Dawson started his Hall of Fame career at guard before moving to center.

PITTSBURGH — Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Troy Fautanu thinks Mike McCarthy‘s offense is very similar to the offense he played under at Washington.

“The first thing that I thought of when they started talking about it is that it kind of reminded me of my offense in college. A lot of passing the ball,” Fautanu said.

There’s no doubt about it, McCarthy loves to employ 11 personnel (one running back, one tight end, three wide receivers) and throw the ball all over the field.

Pittsburgh Steelers wide receiver Michael Pittman Jr. made a recruiting pitch to ex-Steelers wide receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster on Tuesday.

Smith-Schuster wrote “Sheesh !!!” in response to Pittman posting a photo of him at the first day of OTAs on Monday.

Pittman responded, “When you coming home OG?”

Pittman and Smith-Schuster were teammates at USC for one season in 2016.
