Now that the Pittsburgh Steelers have shown their willingness to put Justin Fields into the game for certain plays while Russell Wilson is the starter, their opponents are on high alert. The Cleveland Browns are obviously going to be prepared for any package of plays for the athletic quarterback. Especially after what New Orleans Saints […]
The Cleveland Browns aren’t the toughest team left on the Pittsburgh Steelers’ schedule, but they’re still a divisional opponent. Emotions are likely going to be intense in this Thursday night battle. The Steelers will need their playmakers to make plays. That starts with T.J. Watt, who is probably still a little unhappy that Myles Garrett […]
Takeaways, overreactions, and random musings from the Steelers’ rivalry win.
The Steelers are 8-2 with the AFC North lead following a win over the rival Baltimore Ravens. As always, there are plenty of takeaways to be had:
Sunday’s game was a good one, but not necessarily the most expected outcome. Looking at the trends headed into the matchup, it was slated to be a big day for both offenses. Instead, we got an 18-16 final score.
But in retrospect, everyone should’ve seen this coming, right?

Even with the Pittsburgh Steelers’ win over the Baltimore Ravens Sunday, the battle for the AFC North is going to come down to the wire. And cameras will be there to capture it all. For the first time, HBO’s Hard Knocks is featuring not just a team but a division, following the AFC North the […]
The post Browns Could Without Top Two LT Options vs. Steelers appeared first on Steelers Now.
The Cleveland Browns could be without both of their top options at left tackle against the Pittsburgh Steelers on Thursday Night Football.
Starter Dawand Jones suffered a season-ending ankle injury last week against the New Orleans Saints, when teammate Wyatt Teller fell on his leg. Jones had started eight games for the Browns this season at tackle, but he was placed on the injured reserve list earlier this week.
Jedrick Wills started four games for the Browns at tackle this season. Wills had been...
Divisional games always mean more in the NFL, especially in the AFC North, and even though the Cleveland Browns are 2-8, a win over the 8-2 Pittsburgh Steelers would be a little sweeter than just another win, even one over another good team. “Hopefully, it would help some, but we dug ourselves in the hole […]
The post Myles Garrett Has Words for T.J. Watt after NFL Honors Flap appeared first on Steelers Now.
Cleveland Browns defensive end Myles Garrett had some words for Pittsburgh Steelers outside linebacker T.J. Watt on Tuesday before the Thursday Night Football rivalry game between the teams this week.
Garrett apparently took issue with Watt’s response to Garrett winning the 2023 NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award this past offseason. Watt was in Las Vegas last year for the NFL Honors award show, but when he found out that Garrett was going to win and not him, [he skipped the...
Although they just beat the Baltimore Ravens, the Pittsburgh Steelers can’t celebrate for too long. They have to play the Cleveland Browns in only a few short days. The Browns are at the bottom of the AFC North but taking them lightly would be foolish. They lost quarterback Deshaun Watson to a season-ending injury, but […]
We’re two weeks out from the premiere of HBO’s popular docuseries “Hard Knocks,” featuring not only the Pittsburgh Steelers but the entire AFC North. The official trailer just dropped, and here’s your first look at it in all its glory.
“Hard Knocks” has been taking NFL fans behind the scenes of teams since 2001, but this is the first year they’re going in-depth on an entire division — and we’re here for it. The “in-season” rendition first started in 2021.
This is the first time the Pittsburgh will appear on the docuseries. The Ravens were the first team featured on...
Myles Garrett beat out T.J. Watt for the 2023 NFL Defensive Player of the Year Award, preventing Watt from joining an exclusive club of multi-time winners. Watt made his dissatisfaction with the outcome clear, skipping the NFL Honors Award ceremony where the winner was announced. Asked for his reaction to how Watt handled things, Garrett […]
Count me as one who is more nervous and anxious about the Pittsburgh Steelers playing in Cleveland than I was against the Baltimore Ravens. It’s not because I think the Browns are as good as Baltimore (although they did beat them a few weeks ago), but I think it’s more about the Steelers themselves. This […]

The post Bears Hosting Former Steelers First-Round Pick appeared first on Steelers Now.
A former first-round pick by the Pittsburgh Steelers could be on the move. On Tuesday, the Chicago Bears announced they are hosting veteran safety Terrell Edmunds, the No. 28 overall pick by the Steelers in 2018, per Ian Rapoport of NFL Network.
Edmunds began the season on the Jacksonville Jaguars practice squad, but he eventually signed with the Steelers on their practice squad in September. He played in five games for them and recorded seven tackles (five solo).
