With the Pittsburgh Steelers reaching a deal with Aaron Rodgers, the biggest question surrounding the organization might now be about the future of the quarterback position.
That conversation only intensified after Pittsburgh selected former Penn State quarterback Drew Allar in the third round while also having in sixth-round pick Will Howard.
Former Steelers quarterback Charlie Batch recently spoke on on 93.7 The Fan last week about explaining the challenge of developing multiple young quarterbacks at the same time, explaining that eventually a coaching staff has to decide which player gives them the best opportunity long term and fully invest their...
Aaron Rodgers is back with the Pittsburgh Steelers, reportedly getting a one-year deal done with the team just two days before OTAs open Monday. That leaves the Steelers with four quarterbacks, including 2025 sixth-round pick Will Howard and 2026 third-round pick Drew Allar. With Mason Rudolph the other quarterback in the room, it wouldn’t be […]

ESPN analyst Benjamin Solak thinks the Pittsburgh Steelers are making a massive mistake by running it back with 42-year-old quarterback Aaron Rodgers. The four-time NFL MVP agreed to terms with the Steelers on a one-year deal worth up to $25 million on Saturday.
It’s roughly a $10 million pay increase for Rodgers. The Steelers are paying as much for Rodgers in 2026 as the Miami Dolphins ended up signing Malik Willis for.
In addition to Willis, Solak thinks Kyler Murray would’ve been a better option than Rodgers, and significantly cheaper.
“While free agency is never rich with elite passers, there...
The Pittsburgh Steelers now know when they’ll play each team on their 2026 schedule, and with the schedule laid out, there are some favorable opportunities for the Steelers. Of course, with that comes some stretches that may prove to be challenging. CBS Sports’ John Breech outlined the good and the bad of the Steelers’ schedule. […]

Aaron Rodgers‘ decision to return to the Pittsburgh Steelers dragged on for months, but the four-time NFL MVP will indeed be back for another season. He agreed to terms with the Steelers on a one-year deal worth up to $25 million on Saturday.
So why is the 42-year-old quarterback making presumably one last run?
“A league source said, ‘He loved it here, loves the guys,'” NFL insider Josina Anderson wrote on X.
Rodgers was spotted with teammates Ben Skowronek, Pat Freiermuth and Mason Rudolph at Kool Cones in North Park on Friday night.
Rodgers has built a close rapport with...
One thing has become increasingly clear over the last several years: the NFL is fully committed to globalizing the game. The Pittsburgh Steelers are no exception, as they’ve officially been scheduled to face the New Orleans Saints in Paris this season, marking the second consecutive year Pittsburgh will play internationally.
While these games continue to expand the NFL’s reach and grow the league’s international fanbase, they’ve also sparked growing concerns from players around the league. Former NFL star J. J. Watt recently weighed in on the issue, expressing frustration with the increasing burden international games can place on players throughout...
The Cleveland Browns have never made it to the Super Bowl, let alone lifted the Lombardi Trophy. Since re-entering the league in 1999, they have started 42 different quarterbacks and won only one playoff game (albeit, against the Steelers in 2020). With that context in mind, it’s understandable to hear ex-Browns players say that a […]

This offseason has been an eventful one for the Pittsburgh Steelers, to say the least, and for the first time in nearly two decades, the organization embarks on a new regime following Mike Tomlin’s resignation. Expanding beyond the coaching side of things, the front office spent a decent chunk of change in free agency and was flushed with a bevy of draft capital to improve the roster. With so many moves taking place, it’s worth discussing who has benefited the most from the chaos over the past five months and which players face steep challenges on the horizon. Let’s talk...
Now that the dust has settled from the 2026 NFL Draft, starting lineups are starting to take shape across the NFL landscape. Most positions are already settled, as teams know who will start and who will serve in backup roles. For the Pittsburgh Steelers, that’s largely true. Outside of the big question of who will […]

The first half of the Pittsburgh Steelers’ schedule isn’t especially difficult. It’s the part many think the Steelers need to pass with flying colors if they’ll have any hope of contending in 2026. However, that stretch does include one game that has some logistical complications, as the Steelers will travel to Paris to play the […]

The Pittsburgh Steelers and Aaron Rodgers officially agreed to terms on a new contract to bring Rodgers back to Pittsburgh for 2026. But ESPN’s Ben Solak thinks the Steelers should’ve looked at a different quarterback and let Rodgers ride off into the sunset. “While free agency is never rich with elite passers, there were better […]

The Pittsburgh Steelers’ 2026 schedule is set. The Steelers start the year at home, kicking off the season at Acrisure Stadium by hosting the Atlanta Falcons. Our very own Alex Kozora took a look at some of the idiosyncrasies of the Steelers’ schedule, which features some interesting nuggets. However, what everyone wants to know is […]
