The New England Patriots continued their offseason workout program on Wednesday. Taking to the practice fields behind Gillette Stadium, they held their fifth organized team activity of the spring, and the second one open to media.

While OTAs do not include pads or contact, there was still plenty to take away from the session in the Foxboro sun.

An NFL career that began at Gillette Stadium will officially end there.

Former New England Patriots center David Andrews is set to retire after 10 seasons, the organization announced, with a press conference scheduled for Monday, June 2 at 3:30 p.m. ET.

Andrews, 32, had remained a free agent since his release in Foxborough on March 13. A failed physical designation was part of the move after he saw his final campaign conclude on injured reserve due to shoulder surgery last fall.

Stefon Diggs was not present for the New England Patriots’ second open organized team activity on Wednesday. The veteran wide receiver was still the talk of the the town one day after a video of him went viral.

In the short clip, Diggs is seen on a boat talking to three women before presenting an unidentified pink substance. Patriots head coach Mike Vrabel said on Wednesday that the team would be aware of the video and its content.

New England Patriots wide receiver Stefon Diggs seemed to have an… eventful… Memorial Day.

Diggs, who signed with the club back on March 28, spent part of the weekend on a boat with rumored girlfriend Cardi B — where viral videos began to circulate that showed the veteran wideout surrounded by women before pulling out a transparent bag with a pink substance inside.

It’s not not a troubling video from the standpoint of the organization.

The New England Patriots found themselves at a dead end at quarterback heading into the 2024 offseason. St. Jean spent his entire 10-year career as a Patriot.

Len St. Jean, a longtime starter along the Patriots’ offensive line and member of their All-AFL Team, has died. As was announced by the organization on Tuesday, he recently passed away at the age of 83.

Born on October 27, 1941 in Newberry, MI, St. Jean spent his college career at Northern Michigan. He eventually received two opportunities to turn pro in 1964: besides getting drafted 237th overall by the Green Bay Packers in the 17th round of the NFL Draft, he also was picked 68th overall in the ninth...

The bottom-line results for Drake Maye’s rookie season with the Patriots don’t stack up at all with what Jayden Daniels did with the Washington Commanders in 2024.

But what about the eye test?

Maye gave more than enough reason for Patriots fans to believe there are brighter days ahead. However, the Patriots went 4-13, and the North Carolina product was only really under center for the entirety of one of those victories.
