According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Carolina Panthers have agreed with Taylor Moton on a two year extension. It’s worth $44 million with almost all of it guaranteed.

Moton’s deal was set to expire after this coming season, but this new contract locks in him for a couple more years. He’s been as steady as they come on the right side and his play hasn’t deteriorated at all as he’s entered his 30s. The Carolina Panthers have finished the preseason winless once again. And by once again, I mean for just the third time since 2009. We’ve mad hay about coincidences between 2025, 2015, and 2003, but we’re going to have a far harder time drawing comparisons between 2025, 2023, and 2009. The preseason has come and gone and with it are the opportunities for players to jump out in live game action.
