Do the Giants suffer in Todd McShay’s 2025 redraft?

Do the Giants suffer in Todd McShay’s 2025 redraft?

Hindsight is 20/20, or at least that’s how the saying goes.

The New York Giants 2025 season has been full of “woulda, shoulda, coulda” moments. But as disappointing as the season has been for the Giants, was the 2025 NFL Draft the moment that would have benefitted the most from the advantage of hindsight?

Draft analyst Todd McShay re-drafted the first half of the 2025 NFL Draft as a Christmas Special for his podcast, The McShay Show. While a couple of the first 16 picks were repeated, most of them changed, some dramatically. Did the Giants’ draft improve on a...

NFL Week 17 betting advice: Giants-Raiders picks and props

NFL Week 17 betting advice: Giants-Raiders picks and props

Welcome to the New York Giants betting angle, Week 17 edition. Each week, I’m giving you my three favorite wagers for that week’s New York Giants game. My one rule: I won’t ever give you wagers that are less than -120. No gimmies here.

It’s rare for the teams with the two worst records to meet this late in the season, but here we are. New York travels to Las Vegas this week to face the Raiders. The teams are both 2-13 and the loser of this game will be sitting in the pole position for the first pick in...

NY Giants roster move: Safety added to fill out practice squad

NY Giants roster move: Safety added to fill out practice squad

There may be only two games left in the season, but the business of filling out NFL rosters never really stops. With safety Tyler Nubin out this Sunday against the Las Vegas Raiders due to a neck injury, the Giants on Friday added safety Patrick McMorris to their practice squad.

The 24-year-old McMorris was on the Giants’ practice squad for about three weeks at the beginning of the 2024 season.

McMorris was a sixth-round pick by the Miami Dolphins in the 2024 NFL Draft. He was waived by Miami this season as part of final roster cuts.

McMorris, 6-foot, 206...

New York Giants mailbag: Fans eyes have turned toward the future

*Casey Sybrandy asks: Because of his work with Dart and the improved offensive performance this season vs. the two prior seasons, I’ve felt that Kafka deserves an interview for the head coach position. Recent games make me wonder if he’s truly qualified and even before then I’d expect him to be grilled the hardest of all candidates due to how poorly the team has been the past few years. If you were doing the interview, what would Kafka have to show you to make you believe he could be the guy for the job? Personally, I feel he needs to...

Las Vegas Raiders bench another star player against the NY Giants

Las Vegas Raiders bench another star player against the NY Giants

The Las Vegas Raiders have informed star pass rusher Maxx Crosby that he won’t be playing this Sunday against the New York Giants.

While Crosby has been playing through an injury, he still has 10.0 sacks on the season to go with 20 QB hits and a career-high 28 tackles for a loss.

For their part, the Giants will be without left tackle Andrew Thoma, who suffered a hamstring injury last week against the Minnesota Vikings.

Crosby is, pretty easily, the Raiders’ best defensive players and one of their best players at any position. The decision to bench him comes...

Good morning, New York Giants fans! Happy Saturday, and I hope everyone had a great holiday!

The 2025-2026 Bowl Season rolls on today, though we’re still in the break between the first and second rounds of the College Football Playoffs. Today’s games feature a selection of teams that were responsible for much of the chaos in college football this year. On one hand, we have some teams that disappointed and didn’t play up to their talent or pedigree, as well as some teams that far outplayed expectations this year and knocked off some powerhouses.

Ex-Giant TE Jeremy Shockey thinks ‘the Giants are going to be great’

Former New York Giants tight end Jeremy Shockey sounded bullish on the team’s future in a recent interview with ‘Hard Rock Bet.’

“I think the New York Giants have found their guy”

Shockey loves what he sees from rookie quarterback Jaxson Dart.

Dart is a great player and a great competitor. I’ve always been a fan of his, even when he was in college, because he is an amazing talent.

The talent he has is clear to see, as is the competitive spirit.

“*He definitely has to learn how to take a hit or...

NY Giants-Raiders matchup: Can Las Vegas follow the Vikings’ blueprint?

NY Giants-Raiders matchup: Can Las Vegas follow the Vikings’ blueprint?

The Coal Bowl arrives just in time for the holidays: the New York Giants vs. the Las Vegas Raiders. The Grinch descends on Sin City as two despondent 2–13 teams meet, each desperate to snap impressively long losing streaks. Both teams have dropped nine straight games, with the Raiders losing 13 of their last 14.

There are serious stakes in this game. The winner of this game will significantly improve their odds of securing the first overall pick in the 2026 NFL Draft—a prize the Giants currently hold.

If the Giants leave Las Vegas with a victory, their chances of...

NY Giants-Raiders matchup: Las Vegas offense worse than New York defense?

NY Giants-Raiders matchup: Las Vegas offense worse than New York defense?

The New York Giants have a real chance to come away from this Sunday’s game against the Las Vegas Raiders with their third victory of the season.

Whether that would be in the long-term interest of the franchise is a matter for debate amongst fans, but the potential is there against a Raiders team that has struggled even more than the Giants have this year.

That said, the Giants can’t afford to take the Raiders lightly. Las Vegas is coming off of a game in which they very nearly pulled off the upset against the Houston Texans. Houston doesn’t feature...
