What a strange offseason this has been for discourse about the Kansas City Chiefs’ offensive line.
It began with the NFL Draft when the Chiefs attempted to convince anyone who would listen that the team was in the market for an offensive tackle. It never passed the sniff test.
The Chiefs invested top 65 selections in the past two drafts in current starters on the left side of the offensive line. The organization also came into the offseason with the second-highest-paid offensive guard (by average annual value), right guard Trey Smith, and the highest-paid center in the league, Center Humphrey....

We are 66 days away from the Kansas City Chiefs‘ season-opening game against the Denver Broncos on “Monday Night Football” in Week 1.
The No. 66 jersey will be worn by offensive lineman Mike Caliendo entering training camp, as he has since entering the league in 2023, but he will have to perform well in St. Joseph to keep wearing it through 2026.
There aren’t many significant No. 66s in Chiefs history, so let’s remember a unique player in this franchise’s story.

There has been no shortage of coverage on the Kansas City Chiefs’ disappointing 6-11 season. Much of the analysis falls into the polarizing extremes: either head coach Andy Reid needs to be replaced, or Reid’s track record should not be doubted.
For the 2026 season, Reid will be the NFL’s longest-tenured head coach. It is probably not a hot take that the coming season will set the stage for the remainder of the 68-year-old’s career.

It’s no surprise to Kansas City Chiefs fans to hear that defensive tackle Chris Jones is considered a top-5 player at his position, based on a survey of NFL “executives, coaches and scouts” conducted by ESPN writer Jeremy Fowler.
But high up on the list, should he be? This survey ranked him No. 4, behind Leonard Williams of the Seattle Seahawks, Jeffery Simmons of the Tennessee Titans, and Jalen Carter of the Philadelphia Eagles.

The No. 67 jersey has not been worn in Kansas City since offensive tackle Lucas Niang last wore it in 2022, but it was worn by a memorable player in Chiefs history.
After being drafted second overall by the Chiefs out of the University of Kentucky, Still started every game right away and earned Pro Bowl and second-team All-Pro honors by his third...

The “New Heights” podcast is wrapping up its fourth season of episodes this summer, with Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce and his brother, former Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce, interviewing seven-time Super Bowl champion quarterback Tom Brady in the season finale.
Early in the interview, Brady complimented Kelce’s play style and fantasized about what he and Kelce could’ve done together on the football field.
“You’ve had a unique athleticism, Trav,” Brady said. “Silky-smooth route runner, incredible feel out there. I think, if I played with you, you would’ve had 110, 120 [catches] a year.”

The No. 68 jersey is not officially retired by the franchise, but it absolutely should be.

Fans of the Kansas City Chiefs are waiting for the first game of the 2026 season. To kill some time, we asked readers at Arrowhead Pride for their first favorite Chiefs player.
Personally, my first favorite Chiefs player was running back Larry Johnson. With my die-hard Chiefs memories beginning in 2006, my earliest ones centered on Johnson, who felt like the only player who ever touched the ball.
That nostalgic anecdote is backed by the fact that Johnson is the NFL-record holder for most rushing attempts in a season; he carried the ball 416 times in 2006, which didn’t even...

Chiefs fans were polled on the opinion of the youngest stars on the team, and starting left tackle Josh Simmons received nearly three-fourths of the vote. Despite only starting eight games in his rookie year, Simmons flashed enough talent...

Over the last three seasons, the Kansas City Chiefs have struggled to run the ball. Despite the Chiefs constantly facing light boxes from opposing defenses, the offense has struggled to punish them with the rushing attack.
There are multiple reasons why the run game has fallen off over the past few years.
The offensive line hasn’t been consistently healthy or a strength for the Chiefs. The interior offensive line has always been great, but the revolving tackles have hurt the run game.
The skill-position group, particularly at tight end, has not been impactful in run blocking. The Chiefs...
