The Cleveland Browns will be in a key battle for draft position on Sunday when they face the Las Vegas Raiders.
The Browns come into the game having lost six of their past seven games and have not won a road game since Week 2 of the 2024 season. The Raiders have only posted one win since Week 1, and have allowed 30 or more points in three of their past four games.
Sunday’s biggest story will be rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders getting his first NFL start, which has to have the networks kicking themselves, as the [game will only...

The Cleveland Browns may not be getting many wins on the field this season (Week 12 versus the Las Vegas Raiders provides an opportunity to change that) but the team did get an extension done with DE Alex Wright on Thursday. Heading into the NFL trade deadline, the Browns roster was loaded with players set to hit NFL free agency this offseason.
Wright takes one of those names off the 2026 NFL free agent market.
Unfortunately, there are still a ton of starters and key contributors set for free agency after this season ends. Cleveland GM Andrew Berry still has...

The Cleveland Browns have officially signed DE Alex Wright to a 3-year, $33 million extension that includes $21 million in guaranteed money, according to the team and his agents.
Wright has been a key piece to Cleveland’s defensive line rotation over the past few seasons for Jim Schwartz and Co., being able to play every position, both inside and out. He was set to become a free agent when the new league year began in 2026, so Andrew Berry and the rest of the Browns organization wanted to make sure that they could get him locked up before the 2025...

The Cleveland Browns and Las Vegas Raiders square off in a matchup of two two-win teams with not a lot to play for and coaches on some version of the hot seat. The story of the week is the Browns starting QB Shedeur Sanders, with QB Dillon Gabriel likely to miss the game with a concussion. Sanders is looking to break a 30-year streak for Cleveland in Week 12 on the road in Las Vegas.
The first injury reports of the week showed a dramatic difference in health for the two teams:

The Cleveland Browns are a franchise that knows more about quarterbacks than almost anyone else in the NFL.
Now, it is important to note they don’t necessarily know about good quarterbacks, as the Browns have cycled through 41 starting quarterbacks since 1999. That number includes 11 times where the Browns have started three different quarterbacks in a single season, and 17 quarterbacks who made their starting debuts as rookies.
Those totals will go up by one on Sunday when the Browns face the Las Vegas Raiders with rookie quarterback Shedeur Sanders getting the start as Dillon Gabriel remains in the...

The Cleveland Browns have officially signed cornerbacks D’Angelo Ross and Sam Webb after placing Dom Jones on IR and waiving Kaden Davis.
Ross, officially in his seventh season out of the University of New Mexico, has bounced around the active roster and practice squads of the Patriots, Dolphins, and Texans since going undrafted in 2019. He’s been with the Houston Texans organization since 2022, being promoted to the active roster, waived, and then re-signed to the practice squad multiple times. He’s participated in a total of 29 regular-season games throughout his career, making three starts at cornerback. Ross has spent...

The conversation around the Cleveland Browns quarterback situation has been an all-year thing. The Browns had five quarterbacks in training camp before releasing QB Tyler Huntley and trading away QB Kenny Pickett. Starting QB Joe Flacco struggled early in the season and was benched for QB Dillon Gabriel, who has also struggled.
Cleveland couldn’t say no to the Cincinnati Bengals and sent Flacco there in a trade, leaving just the two rookie quarterbacks on the roster. Veteran QB Bailey Zappe was signed to the practice squad.
QB Shedeur Sanders had the most excitement surrounding him, with his college performance, personality,...

Unfortunately, the Browns are headed for another losing season, and any pipedream playoff hopes they had evaporated with their recent losses to the New York Jets and Baltimore Ravens. Last week’s confidence meter for the direction of the team was at 10%, and there’s no real reason for that to shoot up, unless fans view Shedeur Sanders getting a start as...

The Cleveland Browns have officially placed CB Dom Jones on injured reserve and waived WR Kaden Davis after promoting him to the active roster last week.
Jones has participated in 8 games for the Browns in 2025 after signing with the team as a UDFA following the 2025 NFL Draft. Cleveland actually offered him a substantial amount of guaranteed money at signing because they liked his measurables and football IQ. At 6’2”, 195 lbs., he’s been able to handle a decent-sized workload in a few games against some of the bigger receivers in the AFC North. He’s totalled 5 tackles...
