Living on the edge eventually catches up to you and for the Denver Broncos it finally caught up to them in Week 16 after an 11-game win streak with the visiting Jacksonville Jaguars coming into Denver and punching the NFL’s best record holding team right in the mouth. It is a tough game to drop, but I feel better about the Broncos facing some adversity before the playoffs start just to remind them how it feels to come up short.
The question now is whether or not they can bounce back and close out the season with the number one...

The Denver Broncos (12-2) could go a long way to wrapping up the number one seed in the AFC with a win at home today over the Jacksonville Jaguars (10-4). A loss would bring all of that in doubt as there are multiple 10-4 teams to start this week and with just a one game lead with two games to go, it would make things quite stressful for this young Broncos’ team.
Kickoff is set for 2:05 p.m. Mile High time on Sunday, December 21, 2025 at Empower Field at Mile High in Denver, Colorado. You can watch the [live...

The Denver Broncos won the opening coin toss and deferred to the second half to bring out Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars offense to start the game. Interestingly, the Jaguars only sent out former-Broncos wide receiver Tim Patrick as their lone team captain on the coin toss.
Jonathon Cooper almost got a sack on the first play, but Lawrence was able to dump it off for an incompletion instead. Two plays later on third and four, Riley Moss chased Lawrence down for a sack to force a quick three-and-out. Denver wouldn’t do anything with their possession due to a...

There are not real surprises for the Denver Broncos from today’s gameday inactive announcement. They include QB Sam Ehlinger, CB Reese Taylor, OT Geron Christian, RB Cody Schrader, DL Jordan Jackson, ILB Justin Strnad, and DE Sai’Vion Jones.
For the Jacksonville Jaguars, they’ll be without RB Bhayshul Tuten, OL Chuma Edoga, TE Hunter Long, and DL’s Danny Striggow and Maason Smith.
Here are your gameday inactives for the Broncos-Jaguars game in Week 16.

Welcome to Week 16 of the regular season!
There are some games to root for in these early slots as the Denver Broncos prepare to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars this afternoon. The biggest one is to pull for the Cowboys at home against the Chargers. A Denver win and Chargers loss would give them the AFC West title. The other game to consider is the Browns over the Bills, but that seems fairly unlikely to happen. If you also particularly dislike the Chiefs, you should root for them to win to keep their draft position as bad as possible....

Bo Nix and the Denver Broncos have the best record in the NFL.
The Broncos are poised to win their first AFC West division title since 2015. They have a clear path to the No. 1 seed in the AFC Playoffs, and with it, home-field advantage and a bye.
Denver also knows it hasn’t accomplished jack squat yet. Despite all of that, the team must play its best and continue winning games.
As Broncos head coach Sean Payton said to the media this week:
“It’s an important game. There’ll be bigger. Same approach last...

A marquee matchup for Saturday Night Football with an NFC North showdown that could end up deciding the NFC North division. The Chicago Bears are currently up by a half game on the Green Bay Packers, so a win by them would give them an inside track to lock the division up in the final two weeks. The same would go for the Pack if they win, though to a lesser degree given they’d only hold a half game lead.
Kickoff is set for Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 6:20 p.m. Mile High time at Soldier Field in Chicago, Illinois...

The Denver Broncos announced earlier today that they have activated guard Ben Powers from the injured reserve.
Powers had his 21-day practice window opened last week, but despite returning to practice, the team decided that he was not ready and was not activated before the Packers game. Now, after having another full week of practice without any setbacks, Powers is now being activated from the IR and is set to return to the starting lineup this Sunday vs. the Jaguars.
While Powers was out, reserve offensive linemen Alex Palczewski filled in well, and the offense and blocking did not miss...

The Philadelphia Eagles and Washington Commanders are surprisingly similar statistically, but the Eagles are winning games at 9-4 while the Commanders season is over at 4-10. They can still play spoiler at home here with the Eagles seeing the Dallas Cowboys not too far behind in the rearview mirror. A win for Philly, however, would all but close the door on the NFC East.
Kickoff is set for Saturday, December 20, 2025 at 3:00 p.m. Mile High time at Northwest Stadium in Landover, Maryland and will air on FOX.
According to FanDuel, the Eagles are 7-point favorites...

If you had asked me in August if by Week 16 the Chiefs would be 6-8, in third place in the AFC West while the Broncos were dominating the entire AFC at 12-2, I would have said, “Yes, that is exactly how I see this playing out!”
Just kidding! No way would I have said that. In fact, I’m still in disbelief that the Broncos — who always seem to win in the most impossible and heart attack-inducing ways — are the tops in the entire league. But I am not complaining. And neither is Topher Doll, former MHR writer...

Happy Saturday, Broncos Country. What a wild first game to start the college football playoffs! The Alabama Crimson Tide looked like they were out of it early on but roared back with 27 straight points to wind up defeating the Oklahoma Sooners. Let’s hope today’s games are just as eventful. ICYMI: Here is last week’s installment that highlights the games and players to watch.
For today’s installment of Future Broncos, I thought I’d take a break from talking prospects and focus on something else. A focus and analysis about how the Denver Broncos find themselves among the top teams in...

Trevor Lawrence and the Jacksonville Jaguars are playing incredible football.
The Jaguars currently sit at 10-4 and are on a five-game winning streak. Jacksonville has a legitimate shot at winning the AFC South. The Jags enter Week 16 at the top of their divisional standings.
Up next for Lawrence and Jacksonville is the best team in the AFC and the NFL in the Denver Broncos (12-2). This Sunday is a real test for both teams and has the potential to be a great game. Just don’t tell the NFL, since literally no one outside of the Rocky Mountain region will...
