Report: Bengals to play Falcons in Madrid

We are still getting leaks on the NFL schedule ahead of Thursday’s full release and Tuesday, we got our first one for the Cincinnati Bengals. For the first time since 2019, the Bengals will be playing in an international game.

The Bengals will head to Madrid, Spain in Week 9 of this season to take on the Atlanta Falcons. This is considered a road game for Cincinnati, so they will have their full slate of home games this season.

Before last season, Joe Burrow expressed his desire to play in Madrid after there was a rumor of the Bengals and...

Bengals’ Kyle Dugger may end up being one of the biggest bargains of the offseason

The Cincinnati Bengals spent the offseason searching for answers in a secondary that too often looked lost a year ago. According to Fox Sports insider Jordan Schultz, one of their most overlooked solutions might already be in the building.

In a recent post on X, Schultz listed his top 10 “under-the-radar” free-agent signings of the offseason, and the final name on the list was Bengals safety Kyle Dugger, a veteran defender Cincinnati quietly added in April.

Schultz described the list as players “who could have a much bigger impact this year than we might even realize right now.”

That possibility...

Bengals linebacker named as UDFA to watch

Bengals linebacker named as UDFA to watch

The Cincinnati Bengals’ biggest position with questions at it currently is linebacker. Last year, Barrett Carter and Demetrius Knight Jr. started most of the season, and the results left plenty to be desired. The team really hasn’t addressed the position so far this offseason. They didn’t draft a linebacker or sign a starting-caliber player in free agency.

The team did go out and sign several undrafted free agent linebackers following the draft, and one — Eric Gentry out of USC — caught the eye of The Athletic’s Nick Baumgardner on his list of UDFAs to keep an eye out for:...

Bengals News (5/11): No contract drama with Cashius Howell

Cashius Howell just made every Bengals fan breathe a sigh of relief after participating in first day of rookie minicamp
Cincinnati watched last year’s first-round pick, Shemar Stewart, sit out of the entire offseason program before signing his rookie deal during the beginning of training camp. It doesn’t sound like Howell is going to take the same approach despite being unsigned unlike most of his fellow draftees.

Bengals president Mike Brown is still a constant presence

Bengals president Mike Brown is still a constant presence

At 90 years old, most people have long since traded deadlines for golf courses and front offices for front porches. But for Cincinnati Bengals president Mike Brown, retirement apparently remains a foreign concept.

Brown is still at the Bengals’ facility every day, still involved, still watching, still working, and according to head coach Zac Taylor, the organization wouldn’t want it any other way.

Speaking this week on The Schrager Hour with Peter Schrager, Taylor offered insight into Brown’s continued daily presence around the franchise and the impact it still has inside the building.

In an era where many NFL owners...

Amarius Mims was vocal about Bengals keeping offensive line together

Amarius Mims was vocal about Bengals keeping offensive line together

The Cincinnati Bengals already boast one of the NFL’s most explosive offenses. Now, according to right tackle Amarius Mims, their offensive line may be turning into a weapon of its own.

Speaking this week, Mims made it clear that continuity up front mattered to him this offseason, and not just from a football standpoint. The young tackle admitted he was openly vocal about wanting the Bengals to keep the unit together, calling the offensive line “a big weapon” for what Cincinnati hopes will become another Super Bowl run.

“It was a little bit of me vocalizing who we want back,”...

Ted Karras is ready to keep fighting for his position

Ted Karras is ready to keep fighting for his position

In the NFL, draft picks are potential, but crafty veterans are production. Cincinnati Bengals center Ted Karras isn’t ready to surrender anything.

After the Bengals added potential centers Connor Lew and Brian Parker II to their offensive line room, Karras delivered a blunt reminder about life in the trenches: “You always have to fight your ass off.”

That mentality has helped define Karras since arriving in Cincinnati, and it also explains why the Bengals’ offensive line room has developed into one of the more stable veteran groups on the roster. While the organization continues to invest in youth and depth...
