Monday night was ugly.
There is no other way to put it, but there was some good in the rookie class. While the night was dark, the future is bright. Let’s talk about this rookie class.
Demetrius Knight has had some rough moments this year, but his arrow is trending upwards, and he played an excellent game this week. Knight had a clutch tackle and an end zone interception to prevent delay the Broncos from scoring just before the half. This was a big play at a big moment. It wasn’t enough to make a difference this week, but this...

The biggest takeaway from this week’s snap counts comes from the cornerback position. After getting juked out of his jock early in the game, Cam Taylor-Britt was benched. When I say early, I mean early.
Taylor-Britt only played five snaps before being sat down for the night. DJ Turner took all 81 defensive snaps, and Dax Hill and Josh Newton rounded out the group with 64 snaps. Marco Wilson and D.J. Ivey joined Taylor-Britt in the single digits.
While Logan Wilson may be giving up some reps to rookie Barrett Carter, he is still clearly established with the first unit....

The Cincinnati Bengals have done something that’s never been done in the 58-year history of the franchise.
The Bengals have a quarterback problem
For any team with a franchise quarterback, a serious injury becomes a major problem. It’s now clear, after two 2025 starts without Joe Burrow, that the Bengals have a major problem.

It’s a critical and rough time in Cincinnati right now. While the town is rightfully excited about the Reds, the Bengals have squandered a 2-0 start, falling to .500 on the heels of two baffling losses.
The once-held faith that Jake Browning could recapture some of the 2023 magic he conjured previously when Joe Burrow was nursing another injury has dissipated, as this team is resembling many from “The Lost Decade”. With the Lions and Packers on deck the next two weeks, the outlook for the foreseeable future is bleak.
Is this fixable? Will the Bengals look to add a...

The Cincinnati Bengals have been thoroughly dominated and utterly embarrassed in back-to-back weeks. In Week 3, they suffered the most lopsided loss in franchise history in Minneapolis. When they needed to bounce back to prove that performance was a fluke, they instead got steamrolled by a Broncos team that entered Week 4 having very much earned their 1-2 record.
The opening minutes teased hope. Cincinnati started with the ball, marched into the red zone, and Evan McPherson’s chip shot gave them an early 3-0 lead. Then, for the first time all season, the defense forced an opponent to punt on...

The Cincinnati Bengals traveled to Mile High to take on the Denver Broncos. These two teams met in Week 17 last year competing for a playoff spot. This year, the Broncos are 1-2, and the Bengals are without quarterback Joe Burrow coming off one of their worst performances in the team’s history when they lost 48-10 against the Minnesota Vikings.
This doesn’t need to be too long-winded. Cincinnati’s offense showed up for the first drive, where they were able to move the ball fairly well and settled for a field goal. Then the defense was able to get Denver off...

With a tough schedule ahead and an embarrassing loss last week, tonight’s Monday Night Football matchup between the Cincinnati Bengals and Denver Broncos feels like a must-win for Cincinnati. A win keeps the Bengals atop the AFC North while a loss feels like it could snowball into a tough month of October.
The Bengals released their inactive lists and once again, Jermaine Burton is a healthy scratch. After an offseason where it appeared he said and did all of the right things, Burton still hasn’t done enough yet this season to get the coaches to dress him on gameday.

Broncos vs. Bengals predictions, picks, odds for Monday Night Football Week 4
People are overreacting to what was a weird game against Minnesota. I still believe Jake Browning and this Bengals offense isn’t as bad as it looked in Week 3. They should cover against a Denver squad that has yet to prove themselves as contenders.

Bengals head coach Zac Taylor has never taken as much heat as he has in the aftermath of the Bengals’ 48-10 loss to the Minnesota Vikings. It feels like he’s become a polarizing figure in the Cincinnati sports scene. When the Bengals win, he gets marginalized credit. But when the Bengals lose, he gets all the blame.
Here’s the thing about Zac Taylor, and this may be stating the obvious: He’s a great leader and culture builder. The Bengals locker room has been lauded for its positivity, leadership, and strong culture for the last seven seasons. That stuff is hard...
