After the NFL Draft, the Cincinnati Bengals talked about how much they liked second-round defensive end Cashius Howell. They liked him so much, they said that had the 10th overall pick not been traded for Dexter Lawrence, Cincinnati would’ve considered taking Howell there.
Luckily for them, Howell was on the board at 41, and they likely couldn’t turn the pick in fast enough. Howell is not the prototypical build of a defensive lineman we’ve seen the Bengals draft in the past, but he does bring a ton of energy to a defense that definitely needs it.
Howell’s game drew a...

The Cincinnati Bengals made a somewhat surprising move prior to the 2025 season when they added offensive lineman Dalton Risner late into the preseason.
It turned out to be a great move as he started 11 games for the team last year, and was one of the reasons the unit improved so much. He signed a deal that will keep him with the team for 2026 before free agency kicked off.
Now, he is showing off his athletic ability beyond just being an offensive lineman. He ran three miles in just 26 minutes.
That is a really good time for...

The Cincinnati Bengals have revamped their defense and brought back all their core offensive players.
That alone should mean they end up surpassing last season’s win total of six games.
But the Bengals will also have a much easier schedule.
As Warren Sharp posted on X and wrote on his website, Cincinnati will have the third easiest strength of schedule in 2026. That is quite the jump from last year’s “actual strength of schedule”, when the Bengals had the 20th hardest lineup of opponents.
This season, only the Detroit Lions and New Orleans Saints will have weaker schedules, according to...

Joe Burrow doesn’t have to ask his front office to bring in some more support—at least on the offensive side of the ball. He has the best wide receiver duo in the NFL. Ja’Marr Chase is the best wide receiver in the league, and that fact is the only reason Tee Higgins is technically WR2 on the roster. If he played for any other team, he’d be WR1.
The Bengals aren’t a wide-receiver-needy team, is what I’m trying to say.
That’s unfortunate for one former All-Pro wide receiver, who wouldn’t mind wearing stripes on Sunday.

The Cincinnati Bengals had a quality offseason this year. They added Boye Mafe, Bryan Cook, Jonathan Allen, and Kyle Dugger via free agency to the defense. Then, they went and made the huge move to acquire Dexter Lawrence via trade.
During the NFL Draft, they added more pieces to the defense with Cashius Howell, Tacario Davis, and Landon Robinson.
On the offensive side, they drafted offensive linemen Connor Lew and Brian Parker II. They added a big-bodied receiver with under 4.5 speed in Colbie Young. They also added a tight end that should have never fallen to the seventh round,...
