The Philadelphia Eagles have been a powerhouse for years.
This season, they may be even better.
They enter the season as the defending Super Bowl champions and return most of their entire core.
Though there will be a new offensive coordinator, they have another year to play under Vic Fangio’s defense.
That’s why Zack Baun believes the best is yet to come for their already impressive defense.
“To think that was all of our first year in that scheme. Like, what are we going to do next year? Already, I feel like we’re miles ahead of where we were last year at this time,” Baun said, via Word On The Birds.

Fangio is one of the best and most respected defensive coordinators in the NFL.
He didn’t need a lot of time to help the Eagles’ defense bounce back from a subpar year after coordinator Jonathan Gannon left to become the head coach of the Arizona Cardinals.
Now, with most of the players returning, some boasting more experience, and another season playing within the same scheme, they should be even better.
The Eagles arguably have the best roster in the NFL.
General manager Howie Roseman deserves credit for putting together such a well-balanced team with youth and experience combined.
Of course, it won’t be easy, and everybody will be aiming for their crown.
Not many teams have been able to defend their title and win back-to-back championships.
But with this kind of talent, a solid coaching staff, and a team with plenty of players who haven’t reached their prime yet, the Eagles are looking very good right now.
