Cincy Jungle
The Cincinnati Bengals are finally able to slam the door shut on a horrendous 2025-26 season, after a poetic loss to the Cleveland Browns in Paycor Stadium.
Although the season is finally over, the Bengals handed the Browns a perfect storybook ending to their rough season with a divisional win and record-breaking afternoon.
Myles Garrett entered the day 0.5 sacks away from becoming the all-time sack leader in a single season, and every Bengals fan had no doubt he would eclipse that against Burrow and company this afternoon.
It did take longer than expected, and Garrett had to work for the record, but he was finally able to get to Burrow late in the 4th quarter, and the Browns’ sideline made sure to celebrate.
The entire Browns team took time to celebrate Garrett’s achievement, and the game was even stopped briefly for the celebration to finish, which Zac Taylor did not seem to like.
“There was five minutes left in our season. We are playing for our lives here. I was never told that we’re going to stop the game,” Taylor stated after the 11th loss of the Bengals’ season.
Bengals fans clearly aren’t taking that comment seriously after Taylor elected to punt the football on 4th and 1 in Browns territory earlier in the 4th quarter…
No matter how you feel about the celebration or Taylor’s comments, this season is finally over, and the Bengals will now begin looking towards the 2026 NFL Draft.
