When the Cincinnati Bengals selected Demetrius Knight Jr. with the 49th pick in this year’s Draft, there were a lot of rumblings about him being almost 25 years old.
Then the linebacker went out and made play after play in camp, like this one:

But, unfortunately, in two preseason games, Knight has been out of position on some big plays allowed by the Bengals’ defense.
Still, Zac Taylor isn’t concerned.
According to Dan Hoard, the head coach said, “There’s learning to be done, but he’s had an outstanding camp.”
Taylor went on to say that, “Demetrius is a guy that sees something once, and you make a correction. And the next time, he’s lights out.”
The positivity is very much welcome, as the Bengals defense needs all the help it can get to improve upon last season, especially with Trey Hendrickson still not dressing.
