Timing does indeed make headlines. Taylor Swift just announced that her new album will drop on October 3.

Diddy’s sentencing is set for October 3, the same day Swift’s 12th studio album “The Life of a Showgirl” hits streaming platforms and store shelves.
Swift revealed the release date while chatting on Travis and Jason Kelce’s “New Heights” podcast.
She also showed off the album cover, put to rest rumors about a role in “Happy Gilmore 2,” and updated fans on her father, Scott, after his recent heart surgery.
She didn’t mention Diddy, and why would she? The resurfaced interview is just a quirk of timing, not a reflection of her views today.
In 2011, Swift was still in her early twenties, navigating superstardom while making lighthearted TV appearances.
