Your Miami Dolphins 2025 Best Case Scenario

Your Miami Dolphins 2025 Best Case Scenario
The Phinsider The Phinsider

With the start of training camp set to start in less than two months, I asked the following question this week:

What do you see as the best-case scenario for this team as composed for the upcoming season? Will this be a year of progression, regression, or will they remain where they were last season (aka not nearly good enough given the money spent)?

Below are some of your thoughts and answers-

burstingfire believes that it can go all wrong, or it will be okay if Tua can manage to stay healthy.

Best case scenario IMO is Tua stays healthy and has a monster year. The team wins 10-11 games and wins a playoff game.

Most likely scenario, Tua gets hurt/concussed and misses more games. Back up QB isn’t good enough. Other injuries pile up. The OL still isn’t good. The DEF has more injuries to key starters. But the team finds wins against mediocre or bad teams and finishes with 6-8 wins. This would be worse case IMO.

I also acknowledge that there is a chance that this season goes horribly wrong and we finish with a top 5 pick. I don’t think it’s likely, but I wouldn’t be totally shocked if it happens. I would rather see the team implode than have another middle of the pack season.

If Tua can’t stay healthy and have a monster season, it’s time to draft his replacement.

Jptapt says there’s a chance that they can get back to the playoffs if they get some lucky breaks.

Best case? They do okay and catch a couple of lucky breaks, and end up in the playoffs. And low and behold, win their first playoff game before exiting.

Probable case? Another mediocre season, but just wait until next year!

Just my humble opinion...

SlayerNation1 says you first have to consider the worst-case scenario.

We must first address the worst case scenario: another middling, 8-10 win season, no playoff win, with the usual injury excuses. This will preserve McGrier and just delay the inevitable for yet another year as We languish.

Best case scenario with the cards We’re dealt:

A sluggish start, four game losing streak culminating in Spain, Weaver gets the battlefield promotion for the Bye. Weaver will be a Head Coach somewhere in 2026, because He does more with less. It is imperative that Ross gets a look at his HC style with enough sample size.

sdphinsfan would like to see what Weaver could do with the talent we currently have on the roster.

I like alot of the talent on this roster. It’s young, there will ups and downs, but I think they’ll be a fun team to watch and if they stay relatively healthy, it’ll be a team that gets much better toward the end of the year. My fear though is that we’re hamstrung at the HC position. If we succeed this...
