AJ Brown and the Philadelphia Eagles couldn’t have ended the season any worse.

Inside Lincoln Financial Field on Sunday were thousands of excited Eagles fans ready to cheer on their team. Many of them were on their best behavior as they cursed out visiting 49ers fans. Some Eagles fans even flipped them off and threw beer cans at them. Well, the visiting team would have the last laugh on this night.

It was yet another tough offensive game for the Eagles’ offense. AJ Brown was nearly invisible for the contest. To make matters worse, he and Nick Sirianni got into it on the sideline Sunday. The Philadelphia Eagles head coach sprinted down the sideline at Lincoln Financial Field to confront his star wide receiver.

Sirianni screamed at Brown, appearing to try to get him off the field. Brown then got into Sirianni’s face to respond. Big Dom had to step in and separate them.

In his news conference after the defeat, Sirianni said he wanted Brown off the field because the Eagles were going to punt. Brown declined to speak to reporters after the game.

Eagles Fan Wants AJ Brown Gone

Brown was a major storyline in this matchup, as he caught three of seven targets for just 25 yards. However, he failed to make a single catch in the final three quarters. Brown’s muted performance and postgame silence capped a season of growing frustration with the team’s offense.

Outside Lincoln Financial Field, a young Eagles fan discussed the game. The Wild Card game was his Christmas gift. While speaking to the media, he made it clear that he loves AJ Brown, but he wants him to pack his bags. The young man wants him on another team after his dropped passes.

Rough night for Eagle fans 😅

He also wants offensive coordinator Kevin Patullo flipping burgers at McDonald’s. He was asked why he would say that. The young man said his job is already like a burger flipper since he cooks on one side and then the other side is raw.

In 15 regular-season games this year, Brown caught 78 passes for 1,003 yards and seven touchdowns. This year’s 1,003 marked his lowest total in Philadelphia.
