WWE Superstar Wants Bears to Get Revenge on Aaron Rodgers: ‘Take Down This Scumbag’
Steelers Now Steelers Now

WWE superstar Seth Rollins is a longtime Chicago Bears fan, so he’s seen his share of losses at the hands of Aaron Rodgers. The Green Bay Packer legend is 26-5 overall against the Bears and 12-3 at Solider Field.

To say the least, Rodgers has owned the Bears in his career. Rollins thinks Sunday will be a different story, however.

“I’ll tell you where I’d like to begin — I hope that his little wrist is okay,” Rollins said on Good Morning Football. “I hope that he suits up this Sunday in Chicago — because this is not the same Bears team that he has faced years and years and years and years in Chicago. And he’s not on the same team that he was in Green Bay. This Steelers team is not those Packers teams. And he is not the same Aaron Rodgers that he’s always been. He’s on the backside of his career.

“This is going to be a different story — you’re going against the first-place Chicago Bears. This is two first-place teams going head-to-head in Chicago. Ben Johnson is going to stick it to you, man. Dennis Allen is going to find a way to blitz, drop you on your back. I swear, we’re not going to come out here next week having the same conversation about Aaron Rodgers owning the Chicago Bears. He’s going to be giving up his ownership.

“Every hero needs a good villain. Every babyface needs a good heel. Aaron Rodgers is the perfect heel. The perfect foil for the babyfaces of 2025, the Chicago Bears. Now’s our time Chicago. Rally up and take down this scumbag. Bear Down!”

Despite facing a former rival, Rodgers said that it won’t add more motivation.

“There’s incentive for every opponent, but I have enjoyed many a Sunday and Monday, and — has there been any Thursdays? — in that city. It’s a great sports town full of sports fans and a great place to play,” Rodgers said earlier this week.

It will be an electric atmosphere at Soldier Field on Sunday with Rodgers returning. The Bears faithful certainly has no love for Rodgers after he tormented Chicago for nearly two decades.

Rodgers hopes he’s no longer a villain in the Windy City anymore. it’s a city that he has great respect for, dating back to when he was a kid.

“I’d rather not be. I’m not in Green Bay anymore. I feel like we can let bygones be bygones, maybe. I can, I guess,” Rodgers said. “It’s a great rivalry. In the history of all sports, you talk about the Lakers and the Celtics, the Red Sox and the Yankees, you’ve gotta talk about the Packers and the Bears, and there’s been some great memories there. When I first got to Green Bay, the Bears had the all-time series lead....
