Las Vegas has been connected to cornerbacks all offseason
We’ve been discussing possible cornerback additions for the Las Vegas Raiders throughout the offseason and now that training camp is almost upon us, it’s still a topic because a lot of people think the team still needs help at the position.
They visited with Shaquill Griffin and were rumored to be interested in Jalen Ramsey and Jaire Alexander. Yet, none of them ended up in the Silver and Black?
There are still some solid options available for the Raiders in free agency if they want to add a cornerback. They include Rasul Douglas, Mike Hilton, Asante Samuel Jr. (who has dealing with a neck injury that has affected his timeline in signing somewhere), Stephon Gilmore, and Kendall Fuller among others.
So, there are some options.
But so far, the Raiders haven’t jump at any of these players.
Las Vegas has signed Erick Stokes in free agency and drafted Darien Porter n the third round. They are the current favorites to start on the outside during the regular season. They also have Darnay Holmes, Jakorian Bennett, Decamerion Richardson, Sam Webb and Ky Blu Kelly.
So, the team could opt to go into the season without any significant additions at the position. If that happens, how would you feel?
