Patriots wide receivers Stefon Diggs and Kayshon Boutte are quickly emerging as one of the top duos in the NFL.

Diggs has been a standout receiver since he entered the league in 2015, but Boutte is starting to find his stride in his third season. Many are surprised by Boutte’s success so far this season, but Diggs has been a believer.

“It’s more of a surprise to y’all, but I’m just happy that he’s having success,” Diggs said on Thursday, via Carlos A. Lopez. “He shows up every day ready to work, putting that time in. I don’t be surprised, I expect success from Kayshon.”

Before this season, Boutte caught just 45 passes for 608 yards and three touchdowns in 20 games. However, this season, everything is starting to fall into place.

In the first eight games, the young receiver caught 23 passes for 431 yards and scored five touchdowns. What stands out the most is that all five of Boutte’s touchdowns are on throws of over 15 yards.

Boutte will need to bring his A-game this week as the Atlanta Falcons are allowing an average of 149.1 passing yards per game.
