The Green Bay Packers are preparing for the upcoming 2026-27 season with the hopes of finding a more successful campaign after an early exit from the playoffs last year. While the club right now is focused on OTAs and getting ready for training camp, Micah Parsons already has the Week 14 matchup against the Buffalo Bills circled on his calendar.
While that contest could be one of the most crucial games of next season, the Packers star has one reason why he can’t wait to play the Bills. In a short video shared by Sports Illustrated, the 27-year-old edge rusher claimed he wants to play the Bills because he wants to have a chance to sack Josh Allen for the first time in his career.
“Josh Allen,” said Parsons, when asked which quarterback he hasn’t sacked yet and is at the top of his list to sack next season. “We play them late in the season. I should be in a groove by then.”

Parsons hasn’t managed to sack Allen just yet, mainly because the two have only played against one another once in their careers. The last time the two faced off came in the Bills’ 31-10 win over the Dallas Cowboys on December 17, 2023. Micah Parsons only recorded two assisted tackles in that contest, as he was essentially a non-factor against Buffalo that day.
During his first year with the Packers, the three-time First-Team All-Pro missed three total games of the campaign after suffering a torn ACL in the club’s 34-26 Week 15 loss to the Denver Broncos. He is expected to miss the start of the 2026-27 season, working his way back from the injury. Health has been an issue for Micah Parsons the past two seasons.
